Hmm. Well the administrator password is different (of course) from the username used for the mapping. But what throws me off is that when I click on the mapped drive (that shows as disconnected) popup says that either the username or password is unknown/incorrect. Yet if I type the password into...
Hello,
Having a problem. New W2k3 server, mapped a drive to a Novell 6.5 server. Selected "Reconnect at login" box, using different username/password (than that for logging into the w2k3 server).
Can browse, etc the Novell directory. However, when I reboot the W2k3 server it does not reconnect...
Can anyone see why the code below will work when it is a click event in a filelistbox but not when it is in the click event of a button? It hangs with an "Invalid argument to date encode" error when it hits the FileDateTime:= DateToStr(FileDateToDateTime . . . line. And also, the button even...
So far all. I can restore from the disks, but not a small portion of one of the sessions on the disks. It's almost as if the disk is full, but there's nothing in the logs to suggest that that actually is happening.
Today, after working just fine, I tried to do a test restore and AS asked for sequence #2. There is no sequence #2 (or seq 2) in any of the logs (activity, job log or job detail). I am not spanning, and the device (Iomega autorev w/ 35gb capacity) should not be full and there's nothing to...
Have some printers with static ip addresses, not"attached/shared" to any server. I can add them to a pc using their IP address, with the "add printer" applet, but is there a way to run a script or something similar to automate the install? The idea is to set a number of these ip printers on a cd...
We had the same, at least in appearance, problem. Turns out the drag and drop didn't work. Instead had to select a message (or multiples) and then go Actions | Archive | Archive selected Documents.
That did the trick for us.
Hope that helps

We have two Snap servers, mdl 2000 and mdl 1100. The 2000 had been giving us problems so we moved files off it to our spare - the 1100. After we moved the files I could access the files (copy, delete, write, etc) on the 1100. Today, I needed to copy a file from the 1100 and couldn't. But I can...
We have a Snap Server mdl 2000. Until about 5 days ago it worked fine. Suddenly we can't connect to it. Can't ping it's IP address (not using dhcp), and SnapAssist utility doesn't find it. Link light is steady on, system light and Net light are both blinking at about the rate as other snap...
What language do you have set for your browser? IE, for example, in Tools | Options | button at bottom of window shows language that will be used. (Although this may be controlled by the OS installtion or IE install.) That may be where the US English is coming in. OTOH what's could be better...
Only time rgb vs cymk would matter would be you'd want cymk if the file was going to a four-color printshop where separations are made (such as in large scale press shops). Otherwise both will look just about the same on a monitor. RGB being slightly better (but not better enough to care about).
If the recipients aren't doing it - you might have them try to detach the eps file before viewing. Some of the files we receive are like that: if we try to launch or view within Notes the image or data appears scrambled, but if we detach the file everything is ok. In any case as Pmonett said the...
I've had users (same notes client) with the error, although usually they got the error "invalid or nonexistent document" when trying to send an email. In that case the fix is to (with user logged out of Notes) : (1) Delete Cache.dsk which is usually in the Lotus\Notes\Data directory. and (2)...
Have you checked the File Locations tab in Tools | Options? IF there's a D: drive anywhere in there you might get those symptoms. (If you've already checked that, sorry.)
You can also do a quick erase of the tape or tapes before the backup runs and the backup session will have the date the backup was run. So, for example, I erase a tape and do a backup. The session will be 04August2004.
Sorry a more complete answer is in order.
I can ping both by ip address and server name. The W2k server has arcserve installed and is used only to backup various servers; both a netware server and a Win2k and WinNT server are currently being backup. I wanted to add the NT server to my backup...
