What is the command to reset a Catalyst switch 3750 PoE back to factory default. We need to setup new switch but do not have much luck removing old config file, please advise. TIA Thomas
EVM-HD-8FXS/DID with EM0 8FXS and EM1 6FXO onboard in slot 2 on a 3845 router running IOS 12.(4)T.Did show diag on router OK. FXS programmed as "POTS" on CUCM. Running several ISDN PRI-T1's, no troubles there. Registration status on CUCM is "Reject". Domain name checks out a/ok on analog gateway...
Does anyone have a cheat sheet with Cisco IOS Voice Trace Commands, we're trying to troubleshoot an outbound issue on a DS1 with a wrong CLID outpulsed from a 3845 ISR and I can't capture the digits...?
TIA

Make sure your E1 is setup correctly, framing, signaling, protocol, and clocking. Or check with Nortel if a recall exists on your DTI mod, and most important make sure BCM is running latest patches. If you have a E1 tester do a none-intrusive testing on the span, could be a channel bank issue...
Make sure your BFT is a NTAB9970 or NTAB9874 with a MFG Date of 200512 or greater. First batch of BFT replacements from Nortel were no good, they would work for 6 months then go into a flashing state. Go to eBay and get yourself a new BFT, no need to buy a new system
Does anybody know how to program a BCM 4.0 call security filter to restrict an 800 # and then re-insert another 800 # in its place?????
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
TIA,
Saafedt
BTW - Don't forget this patch as well - BCM050.SmartUpdate.System.004-200711
Consult your local telephone company for assistance, but those are the latest patches for BCM50R2
What type of gateway do you have on the CS1, is it a IPT gateway or signaling server? What codec are you using - G.729 or G.711? Highlight your IP Trunks under telelphoney resources and make sure your H.323 setting is setup for fallback to circuit-switched enable-all! Its easier to troubleshoot...
Go to system - date & time - select NTP and your NTP server IP address. It will pull time every 4-5 hours from the network depending on the seconds, also don't forget to set the security mode. I have it set to Unsecured
My recommendation is to replace the motherboard (PW810) with a FRU from Nortel. After you power up run the MSC replacement procedure from the Main Menu:Main Menu
7. Command Line
f:
cd f:\program files\nortel networks\voice platform <enter>
mscoff.bat<enter>
sc config voicemscservoice start=...

biv343 - Thanks but
That's what I original thought too, but no. The application DN's are within the 24XX range. I ran the BCM Monitor and couldn't find anything there either? Very strange...Any other ideas
Thanks,
Thomas
I don't know what type of BCM50's deployed, but within the CallPilot you can trick the call by adding a CLID table, then route the calls thru a private line pool group with MCDN key codes to maintain the proper CLID on the PSTN for corect treatment on the Centralized Call Pilot...

FYI - Nortel does have a utility tool on their web site to identify BCM's 200/400 with pontential leaking caps. The test will come up with a serial number pertaining to the BFT issue and in return when test # is given to NT - they'll tell if your BFT needs replacement on the technical bulletin...
I have just received a cdr report with DN's: 4361,63,64,65,66,68,69,70,71,76,88,4390 - does anyone have an idea what these numbers are? I have researched the DN range on the BCM1000-3.5 and they're all within the 22XX, 24XX, but none of them are 43XX, I'm open for anything - Thanks,
Thomas
