Mattwray, Once, the domain name was changed from My Computer -> Properties, the other domain disappeard form the Logon box in the Welcome screen and the Computer account needed to be created in the other domain.

Have you tried logging on as the local Admin and trying to run the executable? If it runs, there is a simple rights issue. If it doesn't run AND gives access denied, look at Microsoft Knowledgebase Article Q250494 and Q230520

How many protocols are you using? Have you setup NWLink/IPX as your default? Try getting rid of Client32 (you will need the Client32 Uninstall Utility for this) and make sure it is completely out of the registry.
