Agreed. Sick of the never-ending questions that you would know if you engaged with an actual Avaya partner.

Go and find an Avaya partner and annoy them with your endless questions mate. They get paid to listen to it, we don't.

@cmnstr GRUB is used yes, here's how to reset root on a V11.1 (CentOS 7) system:
[ol 1]
Shut down the IPOSE
Boot up and get onto console session (I recommend VMWare Remote Console or Workstation)
Press e on bootup to change boot options
Find the 'linux16' line and scroll through to the end of...
Am I right in assuming that the office network is 192.168.1.0/24 and the IP Office is the DHCP server for the phone subnet 192.168.42.0/24? It sounds like a flat network just with different subnets and the IPO is set to 'Avaya Clients Only' in DHCP Server. It's not working because the LAN1...
Did you update the Host ID for the new VM host in PLDS? Also check Monitor and enable Print and Error to see what it's complaining about

Nothing in the KB as far as I can see, it will almost definitely be the same process as before though. Load the cert into the TCS/certificates/delete folder and reboot the IPO

What version is the IP Office? From the licenses it looks like it's a pre 9.0 system using ADI Licenses which can't be obtained any more
It looks like a great little system for a small/medium office in 2010 but there is very little demand for desk phones these days, we can't even give away our...
Essential Edition Voicemail is hosted directly on the IP Office unit itself and only does basic mailboxes, while Preferred Edition (Voicemail Pro) allows you to connect a VMPro server to it for voicemails and IVR flows.
What are all the licenses you have listed in Manager?

Sneaky tip for Primary/Secondary IPOSEs if you have access to PLDS: Rehost the CTI Link licenses from the Primary to the Secondary's host ID, load the license onto the Secondary, then rehost the CTI Licenses back to the Primary in PLDS. I've had to do this when I was having issues getting ACCS...
I've also found the Web Manager disk cache can sometimes get stupidly big after a while running, you may also find that /opt/WebManager/diskcache is taking up your space.
To remove the disk cache files you will need to:
Stop Web Manager: service WebManager stop
Stop Apache: service...
Could be one of a number of things here.
- Have you looked at the Monitor trace from the IP Office to see what it's sending/not sending?
- Have you got SIP trunk licenses?
- How have you programmed the button to 'use sip trunk'? What kind of phone?

Are you able to log into the IPO500 control unit via IP Office Manager? IPOCC supports using an IPO500 as a master unit, you don't necessarily need the Server Edition box.
If you can get into the IP Office, check System > Contact Center if it exists, if it's set to IP Office Contact Center then...
Have you checked out the SMTP trace from the IP Office? Turn on SMTP tracing in Monitor while it's happening and it might give you some clues as to why it's retrying constantly

Sounds like a PEBKAC issue. Just tell them not to add numbers to the personal directory haha

Confirming this latest release 3.35.1.10.FA-RELEASE80-BUILD.17 has fixed this issue with calls not alerting on Android, looks like Avaya figured it out.
Not happy about the total lack of communication from Avaya, but what else is new.

I used an alternative app store as you mentioned, uninstalled the app then manually installed the 3.34 apk.
Interestingly it looks like Avaya have put out an updated version this morning 3.35.1.10.FA-RELEASE80-BUILD.17, hopefully fixing this issue. I'll report back with my findings.
Happy...
Hey Joey I'm from the IP Office forum, I have this exact same issue so it's good to see that it's not just me!
We've found that going back to version 3.34 seems to fix this, but obviously not a great solution as you have to wipe and re-install the app, which means you have to enter the...
This morning it looks like Workplace has been restored to the Android Play Store, however the version has not changed and I am still seeing issues with calls not alerting on Android
I downgraded a phone using an older APK and it works fine on version 3.34, so the issue is clearly related to the...
