Hi People
I guess this is going to be my last post to this glorious forum...
The powers that be decided to move away from our Avaya System and we are now on 3CX (fingers crossed). After 13yrs of of having Avaya, its hitting me in the feels, especially as it goes against the mantra of "if it aint broke, dont fix it"... Anyway, its beyond my powers now.
So the question has to be asked, where is the best place to sell the system (in the UK)?
ive messaged some "refurb sellers" but i just get back the line "There is not enough value in these to offer any money back but we can just about offer free packaging and free pick up for some of the equipment to be re-used and for the rest recycled..."
It might be just a case of sticking it on ebay, but i thought best to check with you lot first.

All still in great working order, would be a great little inexpensive setup for a new business.

Anyway, thanks for all the help and advice in the past, this forum has been a godsend... who knows, maybe one-day ill be in need of your help once again.

Cheers
Dave

What version is the IP Office? From the licenses it looks like it's a pre 9.0 system using ADI Licenses which can't be obtained any more

It looks like a great little system for a small/medium office in 2010 but there is very little demand for desk phones these days, we can't even give away our old 1608s and 1616s.

Your best bet may be to part it all out and sell it on eBay, we're slowly getting rid of all the old gear we have that is no longer needed.

To be fair I can't see a company who is going to need over 80 extensions buying a used system however good.

Once Avaya just charged to upgrade the core software but upgrades are now needed for many of the other components and of course there's always the engineering time.

The response from the refurbishers sounds like the old "sorry not demand for those these days but I'll take off your hands" so to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Do check out the sold (not offer) prices on Ebay and you should be able to get something if you split it into separate lots.
