    Where did it go???

@yankblan This is a PRI. This are for individual contact lists ... per user. Valid workaround, but I'm not up for creating that many short codes for a feature that is supposed to exist.

    Possible Toll Fraud

Got nipped by this one myself once. Try setting passwords for each user on the User page. I came up with a strong, yet memorable, password. Typed it into notepad, then copied it and pasted it into each user. It you know how to use the config.cvs, you can do it even quicker there. I noticed in...

    Where did it go???

Howdy folks, Having an issue with a 9608 set and softkeys. This is on an IPO 9.0 Service Pack 3. The customer would like to add commas/pauses to a contact dialing string. The documentation states there should be a "Pause" soft key that will add commas to the dialing string that represent a 1...

IP Phones and PRI and DTMF, Oh my!

UPDATE: The issue at the 7.0 site was resolved by rebooting the IP Office. Throwing that one out of the mix. The problem with the other (4) systems remains. The four systems are on an SCN. The systems physically reside in New York, New Jersy, Philly, and Chicago. We have been concentrating our...

IP Phones and PRI and DTMF, Oh my!

Thanks amriddle01. I've been thinking it's the provider since day one of this issue. I have too many other sites with the same setup, 96xx phones and PRI, that don't have any issues. Trying to get the provider to take a more active role in troubleshooting is like spitting into the wind. It just...

IP Phones and PRI and DTMF, Oh my!

I have this same problem happening at 5 different sites. 4 of the sites are running 8.1.73 and one site is running 7.0.23, all on IP500v2. All sites use 96xx telephones. The sites are geographically dispersed ... Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, New Jersey, Philly. Problem: (at the 8.1.73 sites)...

The subcontractor from hell, a changed password & unknown PRI keycode

You should be able to log into KRS and change the DOR (Distributor of Record) to your company. Once your company is the DOR, you can see the keycode generated against the Sys ID for the PRI Enabler.

    .C11 voice mail files

I have a customer that wants to change the greeting “Your call has been answered by Avaya IP Office” in imbedded voicemail Intuity mode. Does anybody have a list of what the file names are for the .c11 files under “Avaya\IP Office\Manager\LVMSound\eng”. Does anybody know of a player to play the...

    BCM 400 IP trunks disabled

Are your keycodes still present? Have you tried disabling and enabling the FEPS service?

BCM50 No Voice on IP Sets

You don't have all of the required ports open. Signaling between the IP telephones and the Business Communications Manager uses Business Communications Manager port 7000. However, voice packets are exchanged using the default RTP ports 28000 through 28255 at the Business Communications Manager...

    Avaya BCM50 R6 call-by-call limits on PRI

LOL ... why didn't they just order analog loop start trunks. Customers never ask an expert first, they just want you to make their poor choices work. Very funny post.

BCM 400 with connected to Tenor voice gateway

You haven't really provided enough detail for complete instructions, but the DIY basics are... 1) create a route that uses the VoIP trunks with a DN type of public 2) define the destination codes (dialed digits) that will use the route from step 1 3) define a destination endpoint in the ip...

    BCM400 Rls4 RCC issue

DigitelD .... Sounds like an issue with IIS or World Wide Web Publishing service. A simple way to test both is to open URL http://localhost You should get some IIS pages. If these pop up, IIS and WWW Publishing are working. If not, check Service Manager to make sure both services are running. HTH!

    IPO and 3rd Party Applications

Does anybody know of a place/page that lists all of the 3rd party applications supported/tested with IP Office? Does anybody have direct experience with any 3rd party apps that they would recommend? I've heard/read good things about Chronicall ... any others? Thanks in advance!

BCM 50 not sending Company name

Business name is only sent on Private Network calls. Names are not sent to the public network (PSTN).

    Configure BCM 50 Main Number

Configure the public OLI for each set. If the configured number is not being sent, contact your Telco provider. They are not passing the CLID being sent.

    SIP Trunking to CS1K...Need MCDN?

Try it as public. I don't think you can tag the TON as private without MCDN. MCDN is listed as a requirement. My experience is that without MCDN you will not get private networking or site to site CLID.
