We have 2 IP500 expansions with local PRI licenses installed. Do I have to have those rehosted in PLDS to the WebLM on the primary, or will the upgrade inplace?
Yeah all of the 500's are at different sites. I was looking to avoid having to do custom routing to get the calls to go out specific PRI's where needed. Just not sure what the best practice is for this situation.
I've done a few Server Edition installs, but I all have just been a single Primary.
I am doing one now with 3 IP500's with PRI's in each.
My question is should I load the users that will use the PRI for there calls on the IP500's?
Or do I just add the extensions for each site in the IP500...
System has 2 lines connected, They want only 2 phones to be able to dial out on the 2nd line.
I can't seem to find a way of barring the other phone from using the 2nd line.
The second question is they have a fax that they want to send out the 2nd line, I can't seem to get it to go out line 2...
Deploying one of these an trying to get it benched and patched. I need the default root password and I can't for the life of me remember what it is for VM deployments. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
I heard back from Avaya, they sent me over some new documentation outlining the issue that I have.
The TLDR version is this:
Note: should customer choose to have a pure Avaya solution (appliance mode), appliance mode requires customer to buy another server that has sufficient capabilities to...
Ok, thanks thats what we used.
I am also running into issues installing WebLM, there is a 8300E profile when loading in SDM, but the CPU on the "D" doesn't come close to it.
EDIT: From the weblm 7 docs it seems that only the E is supported, I have to infer that you can only use a 8300D for...
Hello,
I am following the documentation, I loaded Utility through SDM, next step is supposed to be load System Manager which the docs say is required in all 7.0 deployments however System Manger does no fit on a 8300, doesn't have enough ram or vCPU's even with the most minimal option selected...
The ATA's are the Linksys PAP2T, the Provider is Panterra
We are going to see about just running some POTs service. Just a very annoying customer, the had some no named Key System that they claimed worked perfectly before.
Thanks for the advise and comments
I'm running IPO 9.1.4 have 6 lines connected to the ATA's. If I call into a conf bridge, when I get the prompt for the meeting room, it will randomly only receive some or none of the digits. I connected it to a POTs line and have 0 issues. I have done the Automatic balance matching on the Analog...
I was having the same issue with iPhones 9.1.4
Make sure that you have a FQDN in the XMPP setting in Portal, that resolved it for me.
It was working fine on Android the entire time, Avaya tech I spoke with said then the devices login differently.
I am trying to route calls based on the number, 312xxxxxxx calls go to Lync, 609xxxxxxx calls go to Avaya SM. All of the calls regardless of anything I have tried will only try to go to Lync. I set up URI groups for both Server Flows isolating the specific traffic I want to go to each...
I have gotten a few lemon dell servers from Avaya recently. Mostly the R220 though.
If rolling back to 9.1.4 doesn't work try to put in for hardware replacement.
@derfloh
I had tried the upgrade through manager one other time and it wouldn't let me do it.
You are correct, I don't trust the VPN and rather not brick the control unit, if it tanks on me in the middle of the transfer.

Hello all,
Person I am working with has a Server Ed. with the Primary in Miami, and an ip500 in Lisbon with a VPN between the two sites. I need to upgrade them both but I am afraid that the VPN is going to crap out on me if I try the upgrade through the Solution Management webpage. Is there any...
