You can add a second email domain to the already in use SBS domain using recipient policies within the exchange system manager
If this is not suitable, then yeah you can install 2 instances of SBS2003 on VMWARE's ESX serer with 2 network cards and switches as a work around.
Im sure we can...
If there are DNS issues then yeah this may impact on the migration and possibly make it fail. However make sure you use NT backup and take a system state backup. if all goes wrong, then you can just restore that.
Good luck on this and read the migration guide a couple of times in advance

From the server that is not accepting the push, Can you try browsing to the media server and install the client from the share ? If this works great if not, tried turning off the firewall or any AV / security software that may be blocking it ?
Jamie
Have you deployed the agents to the VM's ? And is the VM your trying to restore to 17GB+ Sounds like you are restoring the full VHD.
Point your backup to he VM's shares (not the full VM), and only select them if thats all you want. Other than that you need to restore the Full VM if thats what...

Also on the exchange server you can put the remote agent into debug mode and see what its doing
on the start parametres of the service put -debug into the section and apply it, then restart the service. this should populate the logs for you, which you can find more info on the following URL: -...
Not 100% sure what the problem is seems generic, but check the following
1) Is the device showing as online on the devices tab ?
2) Check the destination device and media group is correct in the properties of the job (Right click on the job, choose properties)

Id suggest removing the agent, doing your 2010 testing, when done and 2010 is removed, push the older agent back on from 12.5, i suspect 2010 has a new agent on it and may cause problems for your 12.5 backups
You may want to pause the job too
(Just checked the date on this post :O )
Sorry !

You can also use the becmd to manipulate your backup jobs that are on the box.

Firstly this is posted in the wrong area, this is Backup Exec not Arc server backup
but, within the backup job your can choose the level of detail in the jobs, reducing this will make the logs smaller. you might even be able to disable it
