Could anyone please tell me how I can stop Backup Exec from creating Gigabytes of log files (mainly trc files) in c:\program files\CA\Brightstor ARCserve Backup\log folder.
I am currently running Windows2003 Server which backs up 5 other windows servers using the ArcServe Agents, the agents are for all Windows service (Open File, Exchange, SQL and SBS premium)

This is now becoming a real headache as I need to rememeber to delete these files on a regular basis otherwise my drive just fills up.

Unless I'm missing something I DO NOT use these files so they are simply just taking up disk space.

Many thanks in advance for any help

Firstly this is posted in the wrong area, this is Backup Exec not Arc server backup

but, within the backup job your can choose the level of detail in the jobs, reducing this will make the logs smaller. you might even be able to disable it
