Unable to see\add Exabyte USB Tape Drive

Hi all

Had a recent Server crash which meant an SBS 2003 repair was carried out which corrupted the Backup Exec 12.5 installation and setup.

I took the decision to uninstall and re-install from fresh.

I now have a new install with the Domain Admin account as the only Logon account.

For some reason i cannot get Backup Exec to see the installed Exabyte VXA-3a USB Tape Drive which shows up perfectly well in Device manager and responds fine to the VXA Tool for Windows.

Im hoping someone can shed some light on this for me as im desperate to get the backups configured and working again.

have you tried installing the drivers for it via the wizard ?

Tools -> wizards -> Device configuration wizard, and follow the steps
