It's TRAK on an option 11 and TRAC on the big machines.

Web client Real Time Reporting problem.

The guys are right...multicast is the way to go provided you can talk your network types into allowing multicast traffic...if not, you're stuck with unicast. One thing you might try if you don't want to bump the sessions up is restart the RTR service by ticking the "restart real time reporting...

Symposium 5.0 Broadcast Announcements not playing

You might also ensure your MAS Link Handler #2 service is running (Look under "computer management>services"). Sometimes it stalls after a reboot. It is safe to just restart the service. You can set the service to recover from a stall by changing the "first failure" action to "restart the...

Gotta love those NTPs...read it twice and get 3 interpretations...then try it to see what really happens;-)

Can you copy an ACD phone?

If you happen to know what your ACD-DN (queue) is, you can also see all the sets in that ACD-DN by querying the DNB of the ACD-DN. >ld 20 PT0000 REQ: prt TYPE: dnb CUST 0 DN 6006 DATE PAGE DES DN 6006 <-----this is the ACD-DN or queue number CPND NAME xxxxx XPLN 19...

    RTMB Routes Access

Isn't it interesting, Mike, how 2 people can read the same thing and get 2 different interpretations of something. I reread Wilmer's post and thought "what was I thinking?". Wilmer, pay attention to Mike's solution and not my ramblings.

    RTMB Routes Access

One way you could do it would be to disable all the trunks and enable one at a time to test them individually. There is another way however, using a maintenance set (CLS MTA). It's easier with a digital set, but an analogue set will do. I usually have my main terminal right beside the maint...

    Port type change?

Hey Steve, check out ebay item 260085338909...it's just what you need to BIXing.

    Port type change?

You can't put a digital phone on an analog linecard. Go into LD 11 and type the following to find a vacant digital port: REQ LUVU TYPE 2000 Then <cr> thru the remaining prompts and IF you have vacant digital TNs, it will give them to you. A 500 set goes on an NT8D09 ALC and a 2008 goes on an...

    Upgrade/Migration from sccs4.2 to NCCS 6.0

Also if you changed to password on your ngensys account...make sure you make the password on the MAS backup/restore service the same.

    Call Pilot 2.1 Admin Password

It's actually under Messaging>Security Administration. It's called "Maximum Days Permitted Between Changes" and if you set it zero, you never have to change any mailbox passwords. Or you set the number of days before one must change their password. Bear in mind this is a system wide option...

    1140E

Try pressing the softkeys under the display 1-2-3-4 (left to right) right after the phone chimes on power-up and the word "Nortel" shows up in the lower left corner. Not the BIG Nortel with the globe, but the small word Nortel.

ABILITY to BLOCK INCOMING # TO OPT 81C?

The calls you're trying to screen will need to go thru SCCS. If this nuisance caller is just calling someone's DN, your "trap" becomes more complicated. You'd have to change the DN to a CDN and a whole bunch of other stuff. If the caller is dialing a number that is coming thru SCCS to agents...

    Wallboard suggestions

One thing that I've seen done is a flat panel monitor mounted on a wall or a projector to display the web client real time display's. There are vendors out there such as Symonview, but a flat panel monitor is a lot cheaper than a server and Symonview software.

ABILITY to BLOCK INCOMING # TO OPT 81C?

Insert the command: IF CLID = offending_caller_gv THEN ROUTE CALL security_gv END IF Symposium will look at every call coming thru the scripts and evaluate each call against the "offending_caller_gv" variable and when it gets a hit, it will send the call to security...or wherever you...

    Install a new printer/Install PC

What you've listed above as comm 1 is likely the serial connection back to your PBX. It sounds like you're using a DEC VT420 terminal. They have 2 connections for comm1 and a serial connection for a serial printer (comm 3 most likely). Take johnpoole's advice and drift the vt...take your PC you...

    IDC table

The IDC tables are in LD 49. REQ chg TYPE idc CUST 0 DCNO xx <--- this is the IDC table you're working on IDGT yyyy <---- enter the incoming digits you want to get rid of yyyy X <--this is an x to delete the offending digits Then <cr> all the way thru and it's gone!

    TTY 8 DSBL

You're right bigindian, whenever I hear "low speed link", I usually think MAX too. However on an opt11, MerMail has 2 links...the AML link and an lsl which is used for passthrough from the TTY to administer MM. It's disabled when it's not in use. You can also have an lsl for access to a MIRAN...

and then just add the laser/deskjet printer to your PC and set up procomm or hyperterm to use the newly added printer to print out all the TNs you want.
