What is the right way of exiting Split Mode? Do I have to enable CNI first, press Man Rst, sys700 then Norm, hwi534, hwi533, Norm active core?

Or press Man Rst, sys700, Norm, hwi534, hwi533, enable CNI, norm active core?

I'm confuse about the cni?

Option 1 is correct, enable CNI on inactive side, Man RST,etc

The reason I asked because I was reading the NTP. One book said enable the CNI first and the other NTP let synch of memory finish 1st then the cni.

Gotta love those NTPs...read it twice and get 3 interpretations...then try it to see what really happens;-)

the proc that i perfer IF both hd's match.. take all the switcves to norm.. cni's and cpu's press both ini's.. watch the screen for a loop.. get a cup of coffee.. do not log in until you are redundant.. don't try to bring up things yourself.. they will come up in the correct order.. 7 minutes, 4 more gray hair

Which switch is this for?

If it is an option 61/81, the proceedure on the inactive side is to press and hold the man reset button, switch the cni to enable and release the man reset, once it is rebooting switch the maint switch on the active side to normal.

Let switch recover sync etc. LD 135 stat cpu and 137 stat (check Redundancy)

that's the procedure in the book. it's not the one i use or recogmend
