SMDR challenge

There should be 3 SMDR logs from the call made from the IP phone (you are currently showing logs ending with A and C): 1) 06/12 15:51:53 0000:00:06 X9999 27828740000 A 001 5182199 W0051056 C <-EOR 2) 06/12 15:51:52 0000:00:04 182199 00828740000 A X9999 005 5182199 W0051056 A 5 <-EOR So there...

Mitel 2K QSig to Cisco Call Manager

That's actually the doc we used - the only thing I had to do was pick out the few items to be configured in IMAT. I was able to stick with most all configuration settings (I'm assuming/hoping the guys programming the UCM did the same). I'm going to throw in an NSU tomorrow as Mitel100 suggested...

Mitel 2K QSig to Cisco Call Manager

Just setup PRI QSig between Mitel 2K and Cisco UCM. Issue I'm having is that a call on the 2K that is transferred to an ext on the UCM, that then fwds to v/m (which is on the 2K) is carrying the station ID of the party that transferred the call. When the caller is transferred, the calling...

3300 Sip to Call Manager

Here's a doc from Cisco's site for using SIP between a 3300 7.1 and a Cisco UCM 6.1 which might be helpful: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/pbx/interop/notes/678773.pdf

SIP Trunks

Here's a doc from Cisco's site for using SIP between a 3300 7.1 and a Cisco UCM 6.1 which might be helpful: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/pbx/interop/notes/678773.pdf

OpsMan-->Network Element Editor--> PDG

Mitelpassion - a "non-SX2000 PDG Member" has been added successfully to the cluster! I set it up just as all other cluster elements, other than I did not select managed by this Ops Manager. This site is then added to the portable directory group, but since managed by this Ops Man is not...

Mitel 3300CXi to Cisco Cal Manager via SIP Trunks

There's a doc on ciscos website that might be helpful although it's using different versions of software (3300 7.1 and UCM 6.1) http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/pbx/interop/notes/678773.pdf

OpsMan-->Network Element Editor--> PDG

Mitel100 - thanks for your help - thats what I would expect to do, but wasn't sure when I saw your previous notes to add as a non PDG member (so OpsMan won't attempt to send changes to the site). I'll set it up later this week - thanks again!

OpsMan-->Network Element Editor--> PDG

If I choose non-PDG member in the Element Editor, how will OpsMan know which CEID to assign to these ext's in the teldir in order to properly route them?
10. becca1jane

OpsMan-->Network Element Editor--> PDG

Correct - I added them into Ops Man tel dir because I needed them to be in every other site's teldir and allow them to be dialed (preferably w/out needing to make individual ARS entries for each number). The entries obviously fail syncing to Site A, which I have listed as their home element...

OpsMan-->Network Element Editor--> PDG

No, not a 3300, although I do have 3300s that are already part of this same PDG along with other 2Ks. I have users that have moved to a remote PBX ("site Z" - not Mitel) that are connected back to a 2K ("site A") which is part of a cluster, that needed to keep their ext's. Site Z gets all of...

OpsMan-->Network Element Editor--> PDG

Has anyone ever added a "Non-SX2000 PDG Member" as a network element? I just noticed that this was an available option, and could certainly use it as long as it works. Thanks!

REMOTE BLFs

If you check the remote busy lamp assignment form in each pbx, and recall the monitored device, are all of the extensions you have manually entered on one pbx's "remote host set directory number" field appearing on the other pbx's "local host set directory number" field?
14. becca1jane

REMOTE BLFs

You also need to have the remote busy lamp assignment form completed. If anything is not working correctly, you should see maint logs each time a call is placed to the monitored device.

Consoles on first port of not-maxed out DNIC card

Once upon a time....I remember there being a TSB about programming consoles on the first port of DNIC cards, and not filling up the DNIC card with display sets (at the time I think it was primarily referring to SS430s). I'm not sure if this is even a valid statement anymore - but is anyone...

Mitel 3300 system - Call rerouting

Is it possible that there are ext's at (c) that are forwarded to the 2 users at (v)? Can you go back and read SMDR logs to match the numbers of the 2 ext's at (v)?

Call Center - call recording

I just looked into this a few days ago - On Mitel's website they mention VERINT, VoicePrint, and OAISYS as call logging/recording products to use on Mitels. I haven't had any experience with any of them....yet.

OPS 7.6.2.2 Datasaves from SX2K fail intermittently

Completed EM install last week - now running EM 4.0.2.1 w/ Ops 7.6.2.2 - all backups are running correctly for both 2Ks and 3300s. FIrst backups on 2Ks did not work until I changed the ftp username to match what I had on the server (new documentation uses mnms - I think old documentation had...
