Hi
I'm not sure if this will help to solve your problem but it might explain it.
In Outlook, is it using MS Word to edit email messages (Tools > Options > Mail Format > Message Format)?
I have the same settings as you have indicated regarding ignoring original text. When Word is used as the...
I've come across this problem before. Check to see if it's the Shading option.
Highlight the text then go to Format > Borders & Shading > Shading tab. Then select No Fill here.

Hi Isha
I'm not sure this is necessarily the best way but this is how I complete that task.
Use the File > Import and Export option. Export the Contacts folder to a file then copy the file over onto the other computer and use the same process to Import it onto the second computer (straight...
Hi Yachtie
I've managed to replicate the problem you are having in Word (and now, like you, I can't get rid of the email addresses!!).
It occurs when, in Word, you type a hyperlink to an email address and use the Hyperlink (Ctrl+K) menu item to allocate an automatic subject heading etc. So...
Hi
There is a setting that will fix this...they've just hidden it in a funny place.
Right click within the section where it lists the files. Click on Arrange Icons By, then untick Show in Groups. This should put in back in normal order.
Cheers

Hi Chris
You're problem appears to be in the FALSE criteria which is why it's not working properly. Try this instead:
=IF(F17+O21>216,(F17+O21)-216," ")
The FALSE criteria of " " means you'll get a blank cell, if you leave this criteria out the word FALSE will appear.
Hope this helps...
Hi
I'm not sure which verion of Word you are using but this works in Word XP and 2003.
I assuming from you post that you are creating the envelope straight from the letter rather than mail merging to envelopes.
If this is correct try - Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Lables. On...
They are set up as a user on the server in the active directory. The settings appear to be the same as the other users. I'm assuming this means it is a domain account, would that be correct?
Hi
Thanks very much for your help. The "powers that be" here have now decided I shouldn't bother fixing this problem.
I will definitely try your suggestions if I get the opportunity.
Thanks
Karen
Hi
The user is trying to logon to the domain, the third line is correct. It's the same domain they logon to from the Win95 computer.
The error message is:
The system could not log you on. Make sure your username and domain are correct, then type your password again....
But they are using the...
Hi
If you open a blank publisher document. Go to Tools > Options then on the General tab change the file location for publications. Then each time you go to Save As it will default to that file location - ie the user's document folder on the server.

Hi
Not sure if this will help or not.
Go to File > Page setup > Printer and Paper. If you change the printer there it seems to save that with the file. The Tools > Options then shows the printer you just selected as the "Current printer".

Hi
I have a small network with a server running Win2k Server and about 10 computers with XP SP2. We also have 1 computer running Win95 accessing the domain. This connection works fine.
I am in the process of setting up a new WinXP SP2 computer to replace with Win95 one. The problem I’m facing...
Hi
There is another way to do this without having to separate your bullet points.
If you go to Custom Animation, select your effect. Under MODIFY make sure that ON CLICK is selected. A list of the bullet points will appear beneath (if you can only see the first one, click on the drop down...
Hi
Wolluf - they don't have Firefox install, I'll get them to try that.
Luis - Yes, TCP/IP is still installed (eventhough I have had them uninstall v6). Client for Microsoft Networks is also installed and ticked. I can certainly try your suggestions re winsocks and tcp/ip.
I had them ping...
Hi
If your email can't cope with pasting the cells. I do as Craino suggested but copy the cells into Word first, convert the table to text (Table > Convert > Table to text) - each email address appears on a separte line with no cells. Then copy and paste that list into the TO/CC/BCC field...
Hi
I'm not sure which version of Outlook and Word you are using. In Outlook XP (2002), if you open your contact list there is a Mail Merge option on the Tools menu. I haven't used it myself but that might do what you're looking for.
The other way would be to export your contacts list into...
Hi
I have users with two computers (both WinXP SP2) networked as a workgroup using a crossover cable. The file sharing and print sharing works perfectly. The host computer also has a dial-up internet connection. The client computer can initiate an internet connection via this host computer to...
