I've selected to ignore original text when spell checking messages (Tools | Optins | Spelling).

However, Outllo started checking original text on my replies to messages! The box is checked! How can I figure out is something corrupted or what?

Message format going out is Rich text (RTF).
I already looked in Preferences | Email Options and I'm not inserting the ">" code,. The selected option there is "Include original mesasge text".

Hi

I'm not sure if this will help to solve your problem but it might explain it.

In Outlook, is it using MS Word to edit email messages (Tools > Options > Mail Format > Message Format)?

I have the same settings as you have indicated regarding ignoring original text. When Word is used as the editer, the original message is spell checked too. If I turn off the Word as editor function, then the original message isn't spell checked (as per the Outlook settings).

Cheers
Karen

I'll check but I'm not sure it'll work becasue it doesn't happen all the time. Don't you love these?
I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the reply. Anyone else is welcome to jump in and suggest ANYTHIN. I'll take "pour milk and Oreos on top and see what happens".
