I am using an IP 406vs with 4.0 and 2 Vonages lines in my house/Virtual Office.
I have not had any errors with call quality or such, i can even fax and perform remote dialin's into customer modems.
the only thing i have seen so far is that while caller id works and Call Waiting works (you hear...
the Avaya TFTP freeware also has a limit of 10 or 14 i believe.
If you want to do 40+ you will need to use a TFTP applicatioin that runs as a service instead of just a regular application. This type isnot usually freeware. I use WinAgents and I have had it handle more than 100 at a time.
did you try a Trace on the Definity? I would look at that and see if there is a station ID being passed to the Audix. I'm guessing there isn't.
what number are you calling to access voicemail?
you get this when the Intuity does not recieve the station id from the IPOffice station. If you check the Monitor log, look to see if the "Calling" ID is blank, if so then the Intuity will not know the call is for a mailbox.
I recently had Avaya try to setup the link as "QSig B" but I find the...
looks like a hangup by the caller is what happened here. For what the log says, the voicemail dumped the call as it wasn't valid, most likely as it was just silence with no voice.
I've seen this happen a few times before. What happens is that a caller dials your number and then hangs up before...
The LD phone is not supported by Avaya.
If you use the external Power supply then the display will work.
The problem is that the button programming is not mapped properly. The 24 speed dial buttons on the phone program properly, but the buttons on the sides of the display do not number...
Delete the No User and the RemoteManager user in the IPO you want to export from. Then perform the export and close the config without saving.
The 2 users will not be part f the export but they won't be deleted either if you remember not to save the modified config.
There is a file called Dbgout.txt in the root directory (usually of C:\) of where the Voicemail Pro is installed. It can be read with a text editor (not Notepad which doesn't format it properly, I use TextPad myself) or with the DbgView program that can be found on the FTP.avaya.com site or in...
I would check the Alarm logs for errors. Specifically any marked "TLC Data Error". They and this problem can be caused by minor errors in the programming especially in a Small Community Networking setup. I have seen this happen in SCN's where each node has local voicemail (not Centralized) and...
if there is a network glitch or a reboot where the delta server is running before the licenses are validated then the program desn't accept the licenses as valid even though they are. A restart of the Delta Server Service should fix that.
If they are coming up invalid in manager as well, check...
there is a known issue with the newer ATM4's when connecting them to a channel bank. I do not remember if there was a fix yet. I have had some luck when tweaking the voltage settings on the channel bank but it's a hit-or-miss endeavor.
There is also an issue with the newer ATM4's when in a...
