4424 LD+ (Large Display)

Is there any functionality with the "soft buttons" AND display on these large sets - I can't find button mapping instructions for these buttons on the Avaya doc - Button 1 programs the 1st of the 24 programmable buttons on the phone.

Thought there might be some weird button mapping like on 3810's or DSS 4450's.

Any ideas, or are the 10 programmable (atleast on a Magix) buttons and 5 lines of display simply taking up space?

The LD phone is not supported by Avaya.

If you use the external Power supply then the display will work.

The problem is that the button programming is not mapped properly. The 24 speed dial buttons on the phone program properly, but the buttons on the sides of the display do not number themselves properly. I have managed to get 1 or 2 of the buttons working by trial and error but that's all.

Sounds good. I'm swapping the LD for a 4424D+. You know, it's tough going back to paper labels on this job since becoming used to the 54/56xx sets...
