Hi Mono
A 100 page quark document with High-resolution images placed is not a good idea to work with.
Instead split it into two or more smaller size documents. (More Images placed, more splitting should be done.) This makes work fast & easy and also less change of a document to go bad.)...
It's simple. Save the photoshop file in .eps format. With clipping path set to the required image. Then place the image in illustrator. U will get the image only up to the clipping path.
Hope this helps
When ever I open an Illustrator eps directly in Phtoshop, (i.e. rasterizing). There is always a change in colors. Why on earth should it happen. Is there any way to get the same color values in Phtoshop, those originally used in Adobe Illustrator.
I am using Illustrator 8.0. Photoshop 5.5.
thanks for the respone again, but my problem is still unsolved.
I am still not able to blend successfully a 1.5 pt dia circle with a .6 pt dia circle.
Is it possible in freehand?
Yes. It is the Key color.
Simply double click on a Scatter, Art or Pattern Brush to bring out the options dialog box.
In the lower left corner is the Key colour option, which I was not able to change.
can somebody help.
Can somebody can tell me, how to change the key colour in pattern brush options box. I clicked on the eyedropper tool then clicked on the right hand side colour swatch, but nothing comes after that.
Hope somebody helps.
Thanx
Thanks for the response Jaquan.
I had tried it with blend option (Blending a circle of 1.5 pt dia. with smaller circle of .6 pt dia.) The problem is that the blended steps are not circular, instead they are elliptical or compressed. ???? And I need perfectly circular steps. I don't know why...
I have to trace a lot of Medical illustrations. Tracing outline is no problem. But when it comes to Stapling (irregular sized dots to give depth and shade to illustrations). It is really very tedious to do it. Is there some facility in illustrator to create dotted line. Starting from bigger dot...
I have left C programming about 4 years before.
Now I want to start it again.
Can anybody advise me?
1. How many C's are available nowadays.
2. Which will be best to start with again.
3. Suggest some good reference (book etc.) to start with again.
I have used spot colour in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 without any problem.
I used it with a CMYK image. Then added two spot channel(s) through the channel pop-up menu.
The file was saved in DCS 2.0 eps format. Imported in Pagemaker 6.6.
Made the Postscript through PM6.5. (Separated). Distilled and...
Try this:
Select all, and the press (Command-Shift-O) for Create Outlines. (All the text will be converted to independent outlines). Then give the print out.
Even if this does not work, then you can make a pdf of the file and then print it.
Hope this will help. Please respond.
Check your General preferences:
In the General preferences, Check the value entered for Constrain Angle. It should be 0.
Hope this corrects your problem. Please respond.
Check that you have not set "Suppress print out ON" for the non-printing items on the 2nd page.
Check it with Command-M (After selecting the particular item).
Sometimes when I try to open my Quark Document, a message window appears on screen. Saying something like :
"This document uses fonts not installed on your system, and are listed in the window. If no fonts are listed (That was the case with me), then check your preferences."
Then...
Sometimes when I try to save my Quark Document, I get the message "Volume not found".
Although I found version difference, as the main reason for this. But sometimes even opening the file with the same version (with which it was created), the message still appears. Then I have to...
Dear LBF
I did it myself, and it worked.
Let me explain what I did. I took 10 quark files for this.
I created a book(one), and added all the 10 quark file into it. Then I created another book(two), and added 3 out of 10 quark files to that book, plus some other quark files (with same trim...
