Hello,

I am trying to drop a picture into a file that was created by someone else. I can't get rid of the white background behind my photograph. Can someone tell me how to make the background transparent. I've tried to do it in Photoshop and then drop the picture in and it still won't work.

Thank you.

It's simple. Save the photoshop file in .eps format. With clipping path set to the required image. Then place the image in illustrator. U will get the image only up to the clipping path.

Hope this helps

If you have eliminated the backround in photoshop, save it as a .psd and place it in .ai using the version 5 option. BEHOLD! As Steve Jobs introduces us the latest in desk-lamp technology!
