    Busy and release the port will cause the fax call to end, but it will make two more attempts (Fax sends 3 times). I am guessing it is a user issue dialing Area code 850 without the ARS access code. Area code 850 is in use for the Florida Panhandle, including Pensacola, Tallahassee and Panama...

    Make sure the host name and id of the server is correct. You can verify this going to "configure server", then "set identities". My id was off and would not register with the main server. I found the server id in ASA... "list survivable-processor" command.

    I would stick with Avaya. The client already has an understanding of the equipment, features and so on. No learning curve needed if you stick with Avaya.

    Sorry for the delayed response - A piece of network equipment between my switch and router was set to 10/half. Once corrected, all issues went away.

    Using your voicemails Auto Attendant feature would do the trick. If your extension range starts with 1XXX then your first option would be 2 and so on. If someone were to call in and hear "If you know the extension dial now..." The caller will hit 1XXX and the voicemail will transfer to that...

    My company went from 4 to 6 digits... We used Avaya and planning to implementation was about 2 month's. It was 6 sites all together - no issues.

    Sorry for the late response... it’s the intuity default system announcements are acting up. You know the, "Please enter extension and # sign." I have set the network card to 100/full. I have just reloaded the software and the same messages that were having issues before are still having issues. ski

    I have a voicemail pro (ver 3.1.18)that was runnng fine for 2+ years and now (for the last month) the messages and voicemail pro (audix menu) messages are all garbled. I have rebooted the pc, but nothing changes. What should my next step('s) be? Thanks -ski
