Well, once I had the simular problem.
So I suggest you to try this way:
completely disconnect your printer, and try to reinstall driver. Then turn it on. It must help, because you have some software conflict.
Good luck!
I like True Image too, it's excellent for making backup image. This software has friendly intuitive windows wozard, that makes utilization easy and convenient.
I've been using it for a year, so it saved my from crash approximately ten times. I really recommend it.
If I were you, would do the following way:
First install new OS on the primary HDD (master), put deleted HDD as slave. Your PC recognized it as unpartitioned, so use partition recovery software. Just right click on unpartition area, and chose "recover partition". Other work will be done...
You may create another partition (on 140 Gb), personally I prefer Disk Director for that. I think it's the most convenient partition manager: you could resize, copy, and move partitions without losing data; create and delete partitions of any type. Also it has cool intuitive windows wizard...
Try to check some software: http://www.softforall.com/BusinessFinance/WordProcessing/CHM2PDF_Pilot02110100.htm

I've never use Ghost, but I definitely know that True Image can create image HDD and restore it on partition, which has enough free space (it could be bigger, but mustn't be smaller then partition that you image). I restored image of my old HDD (40Gb) onto new (80Gb) and everything was clear...
Well, I can recommend you to use this data backup storage software: create an image of your "C" HDD and keep one copy on "D" another on bootable CD (it takes not much space due to compression), as I always do. You may recover image without load Windows. I think it's the best and fast way to...
Well, if one of your 3 mentioned partitions contains OS and you want to transfer it use some hard disk cloning software> that allows you create exact image of system partition (let's assume here that it's "G") and restore it to new hard disk (also, let's assume here that it's temporary will be...
Well, you may reinstall your service pack, but as I understand you dont't have Italian version. Try to change the language of installing program: Control panel-> regional and language option-> advanced switch Italian. probably it would help you, but for sure you need reinstall service pack.
As I understand you have 200gb HDD without any partition. If it's clean you may create 2 partitions: 35Gb for OS (active) and 165Gb for other data. Create an image of your old HDD, and restore it onto first partition of new HDD. Switch new HDD to the master and get out your old HDD and that's...
I think the best solution of the problem is: link up an old HDD and new one into new PC (master-slave) then create an image of your old HDD, using hard drive cloning. And just unpack it on new HDD. You won't have to reinstall Windows, as backup file will contain the exact copy of a hard disk...
You have to check if all your stuff was completely delete. There are some programs which wipe out all data without possibility to recover.
