Epson printer C80 hangs

I sent a complex page to an Epson printer C80 and it got lost trying to print it and hung up.

Now I cannot delete the document from the Printers and Faxes screen. It displays the message "Deleting Document" but it doesn't delete.

I tried rebooting but this didn't remove the document. Also tried deleting the printer from the list but it is still waiting for the document to be deleted.

Well, once I had the simular problem.
So I suggest you to try this way:
completely disconnect your printer, and try to reinstall driver. Then turn it on. It must help, because you have some software conflict.

I have determined that Norton's SystemWorks has impacted both the printer driver and sound card. Removing it got my PC to recognize both of these devices.

Then I found an old message that contains a complete list of instructions for deleting the printer which worked.
