    1140e DHCP and VLAN woes

You didnt mention how the Cisco Data Switches were set up as for as DHCP relay /helper. But I had a similar problem a few years back. We went crazy for weeks trying to figure the problem out. After days of scrolling through wireshark traces between a good site and bad site we discovered...

    SRG50 Rls 5 and CS1k Rls 4.5

I installed one for a customer a month with no issues. the CS1K does not care about the SRG version at all. If your 4.5 is not SIP ready you can still use H323 trunks on the SRG.

    1120/1140 IP phones reset/freezes

I have seen this when the PD/redial feature is programmed wrong. When configuring the server you must use the ELAN ip address of the signaling server that will be running the PD feature.

Provisioning a 32 Port Media Card NTVQ01BB for SIP Trunks

What are you trying to connect SIP trunks to? Enterprise network or Carrier side SIP? We need to know what version software your PBX is. VGMC cards provide DSP resources for IP communications. The Signaling Server/NRS will provide the signalling (d channel) for your sip trunks, which are...

Non Blocking - Standard CS1K Cabinets

A whole cabinet is going to be blocking or non blocking. Your Vendor should be able to tell you what your grade of service is on your current configuration. However much like an OPT11 intra cabinet calls are always non blocking and DSP resources will only be used for intercabinet calls.

    Need Design Recommendation

I would put a BCM400 at the High School and use its Internal Callpilot. The Nam at the Schoold district is MD and you should start looking at a replacement plan to avoid prolonged downtime in the future. Repalcing the Norstar with a BCM will allow you to reuse all your Norstar sets Either...

    Signaling Server 4.0

you need a minimum of three TLAN Ip addresses to set up a IP node The Media card IP address, the Node IP address and the Signalling server IP address. The port is 4100 . Your phone is registered to the node IP address and you can also use the node ip to access element manager. If yoru phone...

    Connecting Nortel to Avaya S8700

You don't mention what the T1 will be used for. You can program it as a strait PRI and match the PRI settings with the Avaya settings. If you are looking to integrate the two systems with name display, centralized voicemail etc etc you will need QSIG on both sides and that can get more complex

    Call Center software

Symposium is a Meridian only application. The callpilot 150 CallCenter application is a very good small system callcenter app. You mentioned you had 48 phones. You will need an agent seat for every active agent( ie each agent logged on at a given time) . You could also need to upgrade the...

Fred, Thanks for the reply. I have some information on the Teltronics SEB and I am waiting for a call back from my local rep. With the SEB do you have to program each SEB with the alarm parameters or does it work out of the box once you have your dial out information programmed in. If you have...

    Clear All programing

I agree with Mcopini, You can fairly easily do an import of yoru new station database using ASA and that way you dont have to reprogram the CORS and feature access codes. The other way is to have a BP use provision software to clear everything out. Mark www.xeta.com
