Hi everybody!
I need to run a really long query in Access2000 but getting a message 'Too many fields defined'.
Is there any remedy to cure this, except cutting number of requested fields?
By the way, what is the largest number of fields it can handle?
Thanks,
Alexandre
What hasn't been mentioned is that the .pst makes a second instance of the message. This includes the attachment. If .pst files are to be used for "essential" mail, why do it at all? Just upgrade to more storage capacity and let the databases run wild. That is not a recommendation...
Hello All,
How Do I refere to Controls on a tab page?. I have Tab Control named "TabCtl1" on "OutEmp1" Form. The "TabCtl1" has three tabs "Class","General",and "ALternate ID". If I click "Class" tab, it shows...
You are able to use the Global Address book in OWA. Go to the following link and check it out. Have been using for sometime.

Out of Office Assistant CAN work with an Exchange Server for replying to Internet Mail, however it is not recommended at all. Security risks are definitely increased.
If I understand what you are asking, should this BDC be a PDC for the restore purposes? The answer would definitely be NO.
As for the restore issue and starting services, you need to have the exact same structure when building a test bed like this. It should be off the network though.
Outlook files are kept on the local HDD, however, if you are asking where are the email files kept, that is different. If you are using an Exchange Server, the emails reside on the server unless you move them to a .pst file on the local HDD. There have been a few discussions about this before...
If you are still having problems I have a Win shutdown file that will cure most of those problems. You will have to let me email it to you, if that is possible. Leave me your email and I will send.
By chance I remember how to do this, open Word, look under Tools | Options. Look at the View tab and then the section titled Show, uncheck the Picture Placeholders check box and see if that doesn't correct the problem.
I have seen the restore rates much slower when writing to a RAID 5 container than when backing up to tape. However not near that significant of a drop.
cjordan is correct. There is a setting in the Exchange Admin program to allow such, and again, is correct in saying that Microsoft cautions the use of such replies. As an Admin, I would not allow replies to the outside world, and do not allow those at this time. You did ask for a remedy, that...
The answer is in login locally not on the network. Did I misunderstand that you tried to upgrade to Office 2K from Office 97?
I am not sure if the Terminal Services server setup makes any difference but I don't think so.
Try going here to see if it will launch (you will have to use explore)
C:\program files\microsoft office\office
Find the outlook.exe file on the right hand side and try double clicking on it. If it works, send that to the desktop as your shortcut.
