Launching Outlook 2000

Need some help!
Outlook 2000 does not launch.
The icon do not respond.
I re-installed and than I uninstalled mso and re-installed but still same problem. Excel, word, etc........ work well.

Try going here to see if it will launch (you will have to use explore)

C:\program files\microsoft office\office

Find the outlook.exe file on the right hand side and try double clicking on it. If it works, send that to the desktop as your shortcut.

I tried that as well, the cursor does change for 5 seconds and than nothing happens. No launching.

Do you have the same problem if you create a new profile?

It could be a .dll missing as well or it has problems finding one. You can try using FILEMON from

http://www.sysinternals.com

(freeware) to see if you find any files missing that Outlook is having problems finding. joegz

Just a point to all who may come across such a problem!
I uninsatlled both microsoft office 2000 and Norton Utilities. I than installed Nu and corrected all errors.
Than I installed mso '00.
It worked!
