Hi Everyone,
I have a client running ICC on a BCM 50 Rel 6.0. The issue they're experiencing is the Holidays set under Auto Attendant are not working for call center calls. The lines are set to go right to the call center skillset (they only have one). However, when a Holiday is defined and...
I know the BCM 50's have a REBOOT Scheduler whereby you can tell the BCM to reboot daily, weekly or monthly. I'd look for that on the 450..... Bet that's the key!
Yep, it's coming....
Nortel Legacy Customers who may want to retain Tier 3 or 4 support from Avaya for their Legacy Nortel PBX's that a new program is coming out called PASS and PASS+.
In an effort to re-align itself and become more competitive within the industry, Avaya is examining many of...
I am preparing to do my first MICS SW Upgrade. I see that an Upgrade Toolkit (cartridge) is needed for upgrades prior to 6.1 but see no mention of this cartridge needed for 6.1 to 7 or 7.1. Does anyone have step by step instructions for an upgrade from 6.1 to 7.1 non XC sw.?
This would be...
Thanks Everyone....
I actually used the DEBUG procedure listed in the FAQ's and it worked great. Didn't have older SW card than that of the 4.2 I was installing. Firebirdscrambler helped me out with the daily password needed to get this done.
Firebirdscrambler-
Not sure what you mean about using the fastrad or what you mean about the FAQ's.
I can convert HEX Code but that's all I gathered from your help.
If I installed a FastRad, what would that do for me? And or what is the date youu'd have me change the system to and then what...
Looking for help: A new customer of mine was given a system by a customer of their's. They asked me to install it, no problem. HOWEVER, the installer's password was changed, I was able to get in via system coordinator but that limits the programming on the CICS that I can do of course. So, I...
RIGHT ON Guys. I think the best is to do a new START-UP too. That way I can just program from scratch. It has a CP100 with it, so I'll go through that with not too much pain without starting over, I'll just kill the mailboxes and AA and start fresh.
I appreciate the help - maybe I can return...
In your original post, your speaking of PBX Tone, yes, PBX tone. Dial tone and PBX tone are 2 different animals. When you pick-up the handset, your hear what you think is dial tone - ITS NOT. That's PBX Tone. When you dial 9, the AC1 (Access Code) for PSTN dialing, you're opening up the...
Look at my response in the Norstar Forum. VoIP is normally used simply for TOLLBYPASS purposes or to transport voice over data networks - " convergeance." Are you looking to do Trunking or Set based IP? The Meridian Options can do either. You first need to purchase and install a signaling...
Has anyone had to do this? Normally it's the other way around. Is it easier to just reset the configuration and start from scratch? Also, since the SW has the PRI Enabler SW, does this have to be disabled somewhere?
Customer bought from another customer who had PRI and this one only has 6 1MB...
Get rid of the name and have them purchase a CallPilot system. Much easier to work with, and NAM's are EOL/EOS. I hear a lot of talk about NAM's in this forum and just don't get it.
You can get CallPilot for next to nothing now. Go to Metrolinedirect.com for the best deals on Norstar gear...
We could easily spend an entire week on VoIP. For TN's, Norstarboy is right, you need the Nortel Forum. Also, many confuse VoIP with IPT. VoIP is the transport technology to take traditional voice and packetize it in TCP format for tranport over data networks. IPT stands for IP Telephony AND...
Also, Plantronic sells a very nice wireless headset and handset lifter called CS50 and HL10. A little pricy but worth it. I always suggest the CS50 to my customers, but WATCH OUT, as you may need to also get a line filter from them to block out the power hum from the Norstar phone.
Yes, use...
Are you simply paging through the telephones? If so, you only need to add the phones to a page zone under each telephone capabilities:
Terminal sets
Capabilties
Page Zone
For instance, for paging internal, feature 610, Zero being the zone an 0 being ALL Phones, to page zone 1 telephones use...
Thanks Everyone, except for PhoneGuy424 he's a bit rude and arrogant. If I received a manual with the unit, I wouldn't have had to ask for help.
I purchased a refurbished and saved $200. Anyway, after searching for several days, I finally found an on-line guide at...
