Never have. Put a copy of them in a common location on the server then you can coordinate adding/deleting changes between network location and local folder.
If you can someone look at the host in question's desktop and you have pcAny 10.0 or later right click on the System Tray computer icon and it will tell you who is on it.
I agree you could open Outlook Express and get the messages into it then they will be deleted from the server.
Or open Outlook and create Personal Folders and move the messages into them.
They will only be accessible on the one computer you save them on though.
I have had that when the remote computer had an invalid drive mapping. Such as drive H: points to a share that no longer exists.
Disconnect all mappings and try again.
