If you are an admin then ensure that you have permissions to that file in system32 (or other location). Ensure that there is no associated service running (Backup Exec, etc.) then see if you can kill it. It may have associated .dll files also that need to be removed (don't forget to take them...
I am not sure if anyone out here is using Lucent Bricks for their firewalls, but I could use some help. We have several firewalls that are losing connections with the management server. The LSMS cannot see the brick and cannot retrieve logs from the brick, but the VPN's are up and the other...
Ensure the distant router has an IP route (if applicable) back to the connection port (IP) of your local router.

If you download the Solar Winds demo from Solarwinds.net that has a password crack as well as SNMP brute force. By the way, thanks to the guys on this page that recommended that. It is a great, "Cheap" package.
Use the Secure Remote module on your VPN-1 CD. It is free to install all you want.
As for connecting two offices, that is the question I have posted currently as well. We are trying to Nat Private to Public back to Private going VPN to VPN and we are lost...
A gee whiz fact. We changed the permissions in security on the C: drive to not allow everyone access. We left it with on only the local user having permission. Well I guess this allows the local user to NOT write to their page file. Wow, that was a weird one.
Thanks, and now you know the rest of...
Go into the prompt and physically type in a route_add statement to ensure that it can see all routes on the network. It (as a gateway) will only see the route that is currently residing on this machine.
When booting up one of my users got the error that no page file can be found, or is too small. After the continued login, we go to the page file and set the proper MB and click set. As soon as you log back into the system, the page file comes back again. We then swapped out the hard drive to...
We are trying to set up FW 4.1 to FW 4.1 via the Internet. I only control one end of the connection and we cannot get it to configure to work. What do we need to do? I am so lost in this right now that I am starting over.

Delete all of those files again, and create an administrator account. This will give you access as an administrator and allow you to remove the old account, and start fresh. Did you reboot after you removed the old files ???
If you are intelligently behind a firewall this is simple. Simply block HTTP traffic from port 80. If not, then you can internally block port 80 on each machine. Go into your advanced port settings and block it with a time stamp.
My sister is having trouble with having two identical screens splitting on her desktop. Each side is an identical window compressed to half of a screen. She can read it well enough to remove her video and display and restart and that didn't help. Has anyone seen this problem before??? Thank you .
