2003 promoted to dc, client not able to surf

Did you find a solution as yet to this. First off, I think you should make your server the dns server and only place the ip dns add in your dns forwarders. (I think this is best practice - other can correct me if I am wrong) Once you have done that, change the dhcp scope to reflect your server...

    win2k3 dhcp / slow?

Well 25 pcs are more than enuff to keep track of, so i would recommend dhcp. Using the wizard isnt that difficult so ty it again, also check out sites like www.petri.co.il for help. You can also use another device (router / dsl modem etc) to handle dhcp for network if for whatever reason you...

DHCP not giving out IP address to our Network Security Cameras

I dont think so. As long as you have available addreses to lease, DHCP should issue addresses to whatever asks. I think you should check your camera software setup first and the physical cameras themselves. If that all checks out then go check your policy settings. Remember - easy stuff first...

    Disaster Recovery

Thanks to all ho helped point me in the right direction. - Actually reading LOJosef's reply it is a little misleading the Windows CD has to be remastered to include the drivers, it won't read the drivers from a floppy disk. - For clarification - In a W2k3 install, the RAID and NIC drivers...
