Arcserve 11.1 problems after a full restore

Can anyone please help me with any insight ?

I recent restored an identical win2k3 sp1 server by installing the OS (no ad, dhcp etc)and arcserve 11.1 and then doing a full restore from an iomega rev drive (usb)

This all seemed to go well but now arcserve hangs when i try to do a backup, restore or any function other than just opening the manager.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Did the server have the Win2003 SP1 Support patch on it? :

Other than that check for database corruption.

Yes it did,

We believe that CA gave us some faulty info about setting us ArcServe in a different directory other thn its default location.

We re-installed ArcServe and deleted the former program folder and now everything seems fine
