Normally if you push * on the digital telephone you will hear busy tone.
Solution is:
put a dss key with desired code
PROG 99
PUSH DSS
PUSH 89
PUSH DESIRED SERVICE CODE by example *12345#
record and save
See your country user telephone manual
Another option is Patton

In this way I think that each fxs is a sip party, so you will need as many licenses as users on the other side.
I don't know if you may set up a new sip provider associated with Patton...
Ip office route internal and external call in the same way.
Perhaps you could put a little menu in voicemail box like Automated Attendant with option select another number or leave a message.
Like climbing mirrors.
Some ideas for you VOIPP
- 2 VM embedded: you cannot forward messages internally but with email voicemail yes.
- Automated attendand, you have to put same messages/music on hold on both, same decision tree and so on
With ip trunk customer can save money
Hi guys.
here is my guide to enable email voicemail embedded.
- first prepare one more email address for ipoffice
- tell that "vm at yourcompany dot com"
- suppose you have smtp dot yourcompany dot com as SMTP server
- discover IP address i.e ping smtp dot youcompany dot com
- open manager and...

Hi IPOGUY,
as you can see in other posts, Avaya seems to have changed a well known standard.
External call - 2 rings
internal calls - 1 ring
(I would like to stress, that all the other Nortel, Panasonic, Samsung and many others have the contrary)
Noone as opened a bug (as it is on my opinion)...
Ok Hibroth, I'm happy you too have the same problem.
I thought I had an hallucination :-)
I used only half an hour for supporting my colleague, setting up a test machine and finding myself what I told in my first post.
My Boss won't pay my time during bug solving: I mean it's not my job finding...
Ok, Westi. I will relocate in Canada ASAP :D (now I'm in Italy), but I'm wondering if I'm wrong. I never opened a ticket and so, I need some hints.
In this case I have a problem in my configuration, but if I reset pbx and use default configuration problem disappears.
Is there a doc/policy...
Thanks Westi,
you are really calm in your reply. Probably because:
you open ticket diretly to Avaya,
you have a reply in 24 hrs and a solution in a reasonable time.
On the other hand I'm a poor worker in an Authorized Avaya Partner.
My dealer tech staff has few solutions and, moreover, is slow...
Hello all,
yesterday my colleague tried to release to a customer of us faulty 6.0.14 release with a brand new configuration, just to avoid some bugs we discovered on our skin.
We threw away Automated attendant, like to have an old 200 euros pbx you know, use announce on two ring groups (day and...
Avaya IPO with 6.0.14 fails if in incoming call route, destination is Automated Attendant and fallback destination.
Each time fallback is active, calling party hears a strange crack noise and ringing group or phone doesn't ring at all.
With 6.0.8 release this issue is not present.
There is, I think, a standard de facto: external call - continous ring, internal call - ring with a pause.
I called dealer support and asked an explanation.
They told me that external ring are not configurable.
This for me is a bug. Even customers say there is something wrong.
