One possible reason for this is duplicate SIDS in your domain. If the Pc was cloned with the PC in your domain and you placed that image on your PC, 2 PC's would have duplicate SID's and that is what probably caused the problem. I would recommned that you either do 1 of 2 things in the future

You can also try Group Policy. You can prohibit certain functions from being done on the workstation such as changing the time and wallpaper. Ajaxr77's suggession of placing the users in the 'Users' group is also a great idea.
