How does someone tell if they have Win XP Pro or Home?

Someone I know thought they had Pro, but recently they are no longer sure.

The reason they aren't sure is because in the users settings, there are only two levels of security settings, but what makes me think it is Pro is that their version of XP has Group Policy Editor on it, and I was under the impression that XP Home does not have Group Policy Editor available.

In Windows Explorer, Help, About Windows.

But if gpedit.msc is there, it is pro.

Type Start, Run, lusrmgr.msc to see all the predefined groups.

That's what I thought, it had gpedit so I figured it was pro.

But what I don't understand is this, why in Users Accounts is there only two levels he can choose, administrator priviledges or limited user?

Should there not be more options than just those two?

You can also under Pro create your own.

The first distinction made is between Administrator, and everyone else.

The intention is to make things easy for most users.
