It turns out that the test set being used had some wonky firmware on it... tested with a SIP Yaelink phone today and it's pulling from the internal data properly.
One URI on the IPO with everything set for Use Internal works fine, or you can break it apart to 2 different URIs if you need to...
@Janni - yes, per doc... With all the updates to how IPO handles SIP trunks, I'm surprised that you can't enable it via a check box for all calls - and honestly I'm curious as to what can be manipulated via the Engineering tab as its probably just like the No User Source Number tab - lots of...
Yes... I'm awaiting that change to be made on the other system, just trying to work it in a different direction. I've networked the IPO to a few different systems without issue via SIP and H.323, figured it wouldn't hurt to "play" a little while waiting [tongue]
LOL so noted next time I need to integrate with a Mitel!!
IPO -> UCx shows fine and I get the UCx far side info and they get my info
I only started getting their info once we enabled the Remote Party ID
UCx -> I see the caller's extension name, but they're not seeing my info because IPO isn't...
In R9.1, does anyone have the engineering string to enable Remote-Party-ID on a SIP trunk?
We're networking an IPO to an UCx and needed to add the above to get proper caller ID, but on the IPO side we haven't been successful in getting the IPO to include this info so that site to site callers...
There's a patch for this exact issue - for 9.0, but it works properly in 9.1.5
Xima - Check security settings for TFTP, something changed and you need to manually configure that to have it all working properly
Has anyone run into an issue where group membership enable/disable can't be toggled?
We're working on a 2 site SCN system with the HG's at the primary location (have tried at both and get the same result).
Members at the remote location can not toggle their HG membership; and, we can not...
Has anyone noticed that sometimes you'll get nested directories in the Linux builds of VM Pro?
I've seen it on a few server editions - the Names, Accounts and Greetings folders get replicated and added within their parent folder as if a recursive process doesn't complete properly. Has anyone...
I had a similar issue in the past - what firmware are you running on the MATA?
If its older than M-ATA_0011.r0 then get that firmware from their site and you should be good to go
I'm with you 100% :)
Carriers almost always seem to point elsewhere instead of correcting their issues, and anyone who's done the GRIP process knows how long that takes. Just trying to clear off my plate before the weekend and say "I've tried everything I could!"
Ran into an interesting issue while integrating with a legacy TDM Dialer.
Dialer connects to an IP500v2 R9.0.5 via PRI using QSIG A and then places calls out to the PSTN via SIP trunking.
If the dialer experiences 60 seconds of ringing, it looks as the call being made on a bad trunk and flags...
When I said inbox I was referring to Mailbox. Dang multitasking!
The system's we're seeing the issue on don't have VM to Email setup.
On the one system, its possible the server is being over taxed, but on the other there's no chance. 4GB ram, only 30 users, and an i5 processor for 12 ports of...
Has anyone else noticed this week a lot of sites getting delayed VM delivery?
The only correlation we have is that DST happened Saturday.
The symptoms we're seeing is that a VM is left, then a few hours later it arrives in the users inbox with the proper time stamp of when it was left - and it...
If they want to blanket ban recording at their site, adjust the voice mail channel reservations. You may need to add a few more VM Ports ($$$) to accomplish the desired mix of reservations between AA and MBX access, but this is the simplest, most straightforward way.
. Voicemail Channel...
I had a similar problem a while back with the same release, different switches. The phone would just freeze up and a reboot brought it back.
Bring it down to v2.3.0 - that fixed it for me.
Thanks Peter - Just used this as a guide, and instead of modifying the file I just renamed the server's FQDN settings to match the public DNS record. One place and nothing to maintain :)
