Thank you for the links. I'll check out thr Open VPN.
I was hoping for a wayo do it with SBS. I thought that SBS Standard included the ability to be an IPSec VPN server out of the box. Am I wrong?
Thanks in advance.
OK, I can't figure this one out.
I have SBS 2003 Standard with one NIC installed.
I need to set up an IPSec VPN with Routing and Remote Access.(currently we're just using the "Incoming Connections" option in Network Connections, which is PPTP & not very secure)
Because I have one NIC, remote...
Well,
I could use a keylogger to keep tabs on what they do. But that would be a lot of work when there are 20 employees.
I want to be able to stop them from getting the these sites in the first place.
Thanks
I have Server 2003 & I need to block users from getting to myspace, etc.

Hi, New to SBS
I have standard, so no ISA server or Proxy server.
I also inherited a NetScreen 5GT without the websense service.
Now for the question... What is the best way to block my users from myspace & hotmail?
Thanks in advance.
I don't know if this is what you would want to do, but you could create a webpage using a javascript to make it maximized and use a .bat file to start the process. I'm not too good with javascript, so you'll have to find that script somewhere else. But I know it can be done. Here's an example of...
...It will extract all them to just folders.
After everything is extracted and you want to get all the files into one folder, just search the main folder holding all the sub folders for *.ttf or *.fon files. Drag all found in the search into a new folder and you'll have all your fonts in one...
Also, check to see if the time zone is set correctly. You could also disable Internet Time. If it is something quirky in the automatic updating, that would fix it.
I think your easy cleaner is incorrectly reporting what kind of file it is. The index.dat file is used by Internet Explorer to keep your internet activities coherent.
Sounds like a chip of memory went bad. Or possibly the hard drive might be going bad. If the error is slightly different from one boot to the next, I'd say the memory. It may even just be a corrupted file.
There is freeware software right up your alley. It is called nLite. Website is: www.nliteos.com
It does everything you want and more. You can integrate drivers, add apps, remove/disable stuff in Windows. Tons of features. And it is incredibly easy to use.
To check if indexing is turned on/off, go to My Computer. Right click Local Disk (C) and go to properties. The properties tab normally has a check mark in the indexing service box. Personally, I always uncheck it because indexing only slows down a computer.
Thanks Josh,
Did I mention I have R5? Because I don't seem to have any directories in the Company Address Book, nor do I have a +(book) type option anywhere either.
I have mobile users who like to address emails to corp employess while disconnected. I have tried everything I can think of with the "Island" location & a local replica of a Database Library.
I just can't get it where the users can create a new memo & click "Address" & see thier local copy of...
I have found tek-tips helpful with other technologies so let's try this.
I am a complete newb to Linux so anyone who can help please speak slowly.
My NT4/Exchange5.5 server died & the powers that be chose Redhat 9.0 to replace it. It's only function was as the MX record holder, it passed all...
