Help with manual VPN server setup

OK, I can't figure this one out. I have SBS 2003 Standard with one NIC installed. I need to set up an IPSec VPN with Routing and Remote Access.(currently we're just using the "Incoming Connections" option in Network Connections, which is PPTP & not very secure) Because I have one NIC, remote...

SBS 03 Standard - best way to block users from websites

Well, I could use a keylogger to keep tabs on what they do. But that would be a lot of work when there are 20 employees. I want to be able to stop them from getting the these sites in the first place. Thanks

    Windows XP Unattended Installs

The easiest way to get started is to use nLite: www.nliteos.com I just jumped right in without reading any instructions. It is just that easy to use.

    Maximized Explorer and Windows Switches

I don't know if this is what you would want to do, but you could create a webpage using a javascript to make it maximized and use a .bat file to start the process. I'm not too good with javascript, so you'll have to find that script somewhere else. But I know it can be done. Here's an example of...

    Fonts inside rar, inside .zip

Ultra easy to do, assuming you have WinRAR. Select all the .rar archives and right click on one of them. Go to "Extract Files" and extract them. It will create a new folder with all the .zip files from within. Then select all the .zip archives and do the "Extract Files" thing again. It will...

pc clock shows some 3 or 4 hourse behind.

Also, check to see if the time zone is set correctly. You could also disable Internet Time. If it is something quirky in the automatic updating, that would fix it.

    NTLoader missing

I have seen this error when I leave a thumbdrive or external HD plugged in to the USB ports. If that is the case, unplug it and reboot.

    Can't locate file

I think your easy cleaner is incorrectly reporting what kind of file it is. The index.dat file is used by Internet Explorer to keep your internet activities coherent.

    Windows xp error

Sounds like a chip of memory went bad. Or possibly the hard drive might be going bad. If the error is slightly different from one boot to the next, I'd say the memory. It may even just be a corrupted file.

    Custom install CD

There is freeware software right up your alley. It is called nLite. Website is: www.nliteos.com It does everything you want and more. You can integrate drivers, add apps, remove/disable stuff in Windows. Tons of features. And it is incredibly easy to use.

    PC Freezing

To check if indexing is turned on/off, go to My Computer. Right click Local Disk (C) and go to properties. The properties tab normally has a check mark in the indexing service box. Personally, I always uncheck it because indexing only slows down a computer.

    Offline Company Address Book question

I have mobile users who like to address emails to corp employess while disconnected. I have tried everything I can think of with the "Island" location & a local replica of a Database Library.
