My clients need MS Proxy client to connect external smtp and pop server.
But they needs to use IBM Personal Communications too, but when I try to connect the host via telnet but the connection is redirected by the proxy client and the connection fail.
If I disable the proxy client all work...
I have the same problem where I have a DB and OFO. I think is a problem of mininum quiescient time in OFO settings. Try to set the minum quiescient time a 3 secs.

You can delete the computer from the text selection of you job. In the properties of your job you can choose to view your selection in tree mode o in text mode, select in text mode and delete your old computers.

Have you resized your disks with the tool of idr wizard?
If yes you can try to resize your disk manually...some times the wizard change the drive letter...

You must install the agent in both nodes.
You have to prepare 2 jobs, one for node. When you prepare the job the target node must have the control of sahred drive. You will obtain 2 jobs, one will be failed when the control of shared disk is owned by the other node.

I was only afraid because in the compatibility matrix in veritas's support site is mentioned only oracle 8.1.6.
I have ask to my veritas rappresentative too. The rapresentative tell me there are no problems with 8.1.7.
Now i will install the agent next days.

Have you installed on media server the Exchange Manager?
Have you created a mailbox for your backup user in Exchange?
Your default attach settings are correct?

When i try to backup a server by LAN whith RANT & OFO i receive this error in 1 of 3 drive.
I have followed the technote 243357 and i have changed the quiet time to 3, but sometimes i receive the same errror.
Any ideas???

I usually recommend Bexec if the customer have only win nt/2000 servers. I have had a lot of trouble with NetWare servers....
The feature i like in Bexec is the disaster Recovery for NT/2000...it work very fine.
