Unable to attach exchange directory?

This past weekend I installed the agent for the Exchange Svr on our NT Server. Went to run it and after an hour or so the job abended. Yes, I had some log errors but these two threw me off:
1) unable to attach \\our mail svr\MS exchange directory
2) unable to attach \\our mail svr\MS exchange store


Note: Since this was the 1st time I ran the agent so it force me to run a full backup. I would like to submit the job again tonight but would appreciate any info so that I can have a successful MAIL backup.

Have you installed on media server the Exchange Manager?
Have you created a mailbox for your backup user in Exchange?
Your default attach settings are correct?

Exchange Manager is installed on the media server. I have not created a mailbox for the backup user in Exchange?

Note: When I first installed backupexec I used the admin id
as the administrator for the backup services.
