Thanks MetroMan, however this is a private T1 via Rad MUX 11 hardware off Motorola Wireless Link. I will check with RAD Tech support as to whether or not they have Echo Cancelling somehow. Thank You.
We are getting an echo on inter office intercom calls via our point to point T1 (PRI) connection. What would cause the echo? It is not all of the time and varies in severity. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have 3 MICS systems all linked together with T1 PRI's I have the MCDN Keycodes. Each location has its own Voicemail and are operated as stand alone, cannot transfer messages from one system to the other. ! location has a 2 port flash the othe 2 locations have callpilot 150's.
I would like...
I finally got it working corectly. Seems I needed to make the prime extension of the target line for the DN to equal the DN. Now when calling from one swith to the DN of the switch that has a general voicemail box the call gets routed to the users voicemail and not the General Mailbox. Whew...
Yes both ways use target lines. Here is the config:
MICS's 7.0 on both ends, CallPilot 150 on one end, Flash on other. Side with flash is the problem child works fine going the other way. No PRI to CO (Public). Routing and DN's all Private. I did create a target line to the Flash extension for...
On these Networked MIC's When I call an extension on the other switch that is networked via the point to point PRI, on ring no answer, I get the general delivery mailbox. when I call that same extension from the an extension at the same location I get the users VoiceMail. Any Ideas?
Update: I put the extension number of the DN in the OLI# field for the DN and now the name appears when I call between switches. It actually displays the Business name then the DN name. So it is working! Thanks for the replies.
Oh by the way the business name does appear. I was hoping the callers DN name would appear. S currently I do get the users extension with an "H" in front of it, then the business name will display after.
I have named the business name. Also, in the PRI settings there is a parameter "SendNameDisp?" to which I have selected "Y" for yes. I do not have any PRI T1's out to the Central office only Point to Point between Switches.
Has anyone sucessfully passed the Extension Name with Networked MIC's? Networked via Private Pojnt to Point PRI T1's using MCDN Advanced Networking Keycodes. Extension number apears but not the users name. Any Ideas?
I agrre the Link is the best way. I have used that and the terminolgy that the TELCO here uses is "Hook Link Transfer" That is the feature you want to ask them to put on the CO line(s) you want to use. The lines do not have to be Centrex but I'm sure Centrex with that feature will work also.
I have the 3 switches linked via point to point T1's passing calls and transfering fine however I do not get the calling party's name only the extension #.
MICS 1 = NVRAM 2.0, DR7.0, SL-1 (slave), clocking = primary
MICS 2 = NVRAM 2.0, DR6.1, 1st T1 - SL-1 (Master), clocking = Primary
MICS 2 =...
I just completed a project where I tied 3 buildings together with wireless. Do you have line of site between the buildings? If so, I would recommend a robust [like motorola canopy] wireless link and use a product like a RAD IP-MUX11 which will give you a T1 Port. you will need the T1 cards with...
Hawk, remote pkgs worked! I am now passing calls between all 3 switches. Thank You. I want to thank all of you for all your help. Everyone's input pointed me in the right direction.
cutlycord, will it matter if the NVRAM is a rel 1.0 or 2.0? Wondering because I need to do the same thing and my supplier told me that if I have NVRAM rel 1.0 I could lose programming and that rel 2.0 would be no problem. True?
