Go with the G3 Servers. You're right, the specs are pretty close. I have quite a few DL380 G3's and they are rock solid. I've had more problems with the newer G4's for some reason (several units rebooting when CPU high), so I'm glad to still have my G3's around.

Change the resolution on the server console (not through RDP or ICA). I had to do this too before I could install it. Not sure why it's looking at the console, but it is.

Patrick is correct, you have to uninstall the ASP 2.0 stuff first. It gets installed when you run Windows Updates. Had the same problem.... very frustrating.

Check your firewall/router for session connection length. Does it happen for all outside connections? I've heard (in the past) that some ISP's periodically "reset" connections to stop misuse of Internet access. I've been able to stay connected for hours and hours without any modifications to...
Content Redirection.
In the CMC, open the properties of your farm. Under the Metaframe Settings section, deselect the checkbox "Enable Content Redirection from Server to client.

Assuming your environment is Microsoft, there is a tab in the user's profile, Terminal Services Profile. Point that at a shared location.
You can also use the registry or group policies on the Citrix servers to delete profiles when the user logs off to save more space.

Duh - sorry I missed that first line.
We had problems with users that had old versions of IE accessing our site via HTTPS. Before IE6 you could install 56-bit versions of IE, which don't work when you are requiring 128-bit encryption. Might be worth checking out.

We're moving all our servers to MF 3.0. When do we move the data collector to a new MF 3.0 server? When I last tried moving it I lost contact with the entire farm (that zone) until I was able to move it back to a 1.0 server from another zone.
Thanks!!

Are you running IE as a published application or are you publishing the desktop?
We had a few problems with our WYSE 1200LE boxes, but we now run IE as a published application (through NFuse) and everything works. It also worked when the desktop was published.

Check this out from the citrix knowledgebase.

Still having the problem? Just to clarify, when connected through the VPN, can you ping the citrix servers?
What type of VPN? Our Cisco 3005 Concentrator was fussy with routes when I hooked our up. I had to make static entries in it for things to work right.

I was doing this in our setup here. I kept ALL devices that need to access our VMS boxes in one VLAN. Everything worked the best this way. When we had things running more "flat" the decnet stuff was having problems handling broadcasts from all the other equipment. I'm not sure, but I would...
Have you tried all baud rates? Changing the baud rate was always a easy way to confuse those trying to check out your switch without your permission.

yes, there is a way to verify you have the new CD's.
Look for license agreement paper in the CD's. If there is a V2 in the upper right hand corner, you have the new (fixed) CD's.
