I'm in the same boat...got my CCNA and now working on the ICOMM v8 for ccna voice, then planning to take ccnp voice, it has 5 courses. ICOMMv8 is a combo course, an overview of call manager express, unity express, call manager, unity voice mail and basic administrator functions. Hope this helps
Does anyone know what could be blocking the phone from reading an 1140e.prv file from the default web directory on a Win2003 server TM 3.2 machine? I'm using "http://ip address of the TM3.2" provisioning.
I have the fire wall off.
The http provisioning works if I'm using my work station...
Well I finally got it working and as it turns out the problem with this was on multiple levels. First I discovered that port 69 was being blocked when I downloaded a TFTP client and used the solaris tftp software to transfer files between computers manually. After turning the firewall off in...
Sounds good I'll try a capture to ethereal but I'm not sure where to look once I get it captured...can you help with that info? I'm also downloading the solaris tftp as a fallback, I just really wanted to make the http provisioning work. That would be sweet for this new install.
Yes I'm using C6R at the present time and I have option 66 built in the same dhcp scope the phone gets its IP address from. This is the 172.16.115.x scope. I used a string value of "http://172.16.115.77" (without the quotes). I let my laptop get an address in the same range, I was able to brouse...
I'm trying to get my 1140E to read the system.prv file using my TM 3.2 win 2003 server for the http server. The phone trys to boot, retrieves the Option 66 ie...http://172.16.115.77 information from the dhcp server and then the phone trys to get a cfg file(I think from LLDP being set to yes by...
Well to answer your question on how the IVR ports are configured I can't say because I didn't set them up. All I can say is that they are going to a new ICP system. Nortel came in and set the system up. I will ask them and get back with you. Thanks for the heads up.
I have a CS1000E with PRI for inbound and outbound calls to the PSTN. I'm having trouble with inbound calls to a DSC 8000 via SIP route/trk to an ICP (IVR) system.
The IVR gets the CLID information from the call but when the call is later transfered to an ACD queue (M2616 agent), the agent...
Oh so you met her before...its a good video but way to quiet don't you think, she speaks very softly? I was wondering if there is a way to make the SCS reboot without having to go to the site to boot the replicated data into service. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the video but lets say you have...
The PCS is only going to show a SS that is registered to it. So in EM of the Primary SS under the Embedded Lan primary call server IP: Should have the Elan of the PCS there. Check that out.
The same goes for the Alt SS, it should be pointed to the SCS elan ip and if you go in to the SCS you...
I guess I got carried away talking about my set up...:) sorry, "1) On the alternate and primary NRS gateway endpoints do I need to check NCS on both servers for both entries?" Yes you do need them both checked this is how the SS's compair notes.
2)Under routing entries to work with the 62XX...
Nikeair,
The way I did mine is with both gateway endpoints(Prim SS and Alt SS) check the NCS. For the HLOC I picked an unused DN out of my list and plugged it in with LD90 under NET_DATA using AC1 with a dmi entry that doesn't add or delete anything. This number will need to be added as an NRS...
Tman45,
Thanks for the reply, we have our Elan on its own Vlan all elan switches connected up via fiber and no data on the switches just Elan, it just seems to me like a waste of resources but thats the way the IT guy wants it. I would have thought a PVC point to point circut would have done as...
I understand the standbye IP is used when the HA system is split, what I'm asking about is the differences in the two sites. One being the PCS Primary HA system and its route and gateways settings verses the alternate CS Gateway and Ip route settings.
I have an HA system Cppm CS w/5.5 I looked in the routes built for the system here is what I have:
Ld 137 prim elnk is 192.1.2.253
Route is built 192.1.2.0 is set to GW 192.1.2.253
OK
SCS Geo Rdun CS 10 miles away on same subnet is set:
Prim elnk is 192.1.2.250
Route is 192.1.2.0 going to...
If you get rel wrong mode you could take it out of loopback and force download the tmdi and the dch and bring it backup to see if it stays up without lockouts.
