i've heard of mobo's that won't register the full banks unless they're all full ie..if you have 4 banks ..fill em all up. You could test this theory by changing the order of the ram ie put the 2 x 64's in bank 0,1 and put the 256 in bank 2...should perhaps come out at 128? just a guess :)

is it ps2 or usb kb/mouse? if USB make sure that you've enabled USB support in the bios... if ps2 try a usb kbd/mouse :)

Just turn off the dhcp service on the winnt server. You'll have to make sure that the dhcp scope set up on your router is sufficient to cover your p2p clients

If you are using the serial cable as you suggested earlier, you shouldn't require access via ethernet (ie no IP address required)...once you look at the config of the router you should be able to get the IP address for connecting via Ethernet

sounds like a tricky problem... do you have any other subnets with machines/routers configured to use dhcp relay? could be that machines on other networks are stealing your IP's
