    Disapearing Calendars

Hello, Currently running Exchange 2003 on Windows server 2000 with about 20 workstations. Outlook 2003 installs are having a strange issue relating to shared calendars. The problem is the shared calendars occasionally disappear when you click on them in the "My Calendar" view. When you click...

    Dissapearing Calendars

Hello, Currently running and Exchange 2000 server with about 20 workstations, all but three are using Outlook 2000 to access their mailboxes. Three of us are using Outlook 2003 and testing it to see if we will upgrade company wide. One of the three Outlook 2003 installs is having a strange...

Outlook intermittently unable to connect to Exchange Server.

Perhaps there is a problem on the network with a cable or switch / hub that is causing the issue.

    Dynacmic DNS and Exchange

I believe it is referring to the smtp server IP address itself, so whatever smtp server your using ie smtp.myisp.com in your Outlook client needs to have a static IP address. The only time I see this being an issue is if your running your own mail server out of your basement using the dynamic...

Outlook 2000 and 2003 mixed environment group issues

Yeah, I have already realized the issue of not being able to use Word as your email editor. Yet another way to force a full Office 2003 upgrade I guess. We're just in evaluation mode right now so I don't think it's a big deal but it's good to get these issues figured out before a full roll-out.

Outlook 2000 and 2003 mixed environment group issues

I've been searching for days on this one and have yet to find an answer. I am on a network of about 18 users all running Outlook 2000 with and Exchange 2000 server. A few of us are evaluating Outlook 2003 and have noticed a pretty major issue when emailing groups. When you send an email to a...

    Dynacmic DNS and Exchange

Just for your information I've heard that a few ISP's are now blocking any email from SMTP servers with dynamic IP addresses.

    Setup Secure OWA

I would highly recommend NOT simply opening port 80 and hoping for the best. You are right not to trust Microsoft that much :o) I am using Small Business Server 2003 with Outlook Web Access over an SSL connection. I have an external firewall device forwarding port 443 to the server. You do...

    OFFICE 2003 ISSUE??

Also do a google search for clickyes which is a program that automatically clicks on the Yes for that question. My research has indicated it's a feature of Outlook that cannot be turned off.

Modify POP3 Connector Schedule to less than 15 mins

So nobody found the registry hack! Damn Microsoft, what were they thinking!

    No public folders in OWA

Figure this one out. My Exchange Server Web Access site in IIS was missing the virtual directory for the public folders. Once added back in, all is well.

Adding 2003 Domain Controller to 2000 Domain

All went well with the upgrade, following the instructions for fixing the mangled attributes.

Move Exchange or Move Domain Controller?

Okay, apparently it's okay as long as your using a Small Business Server package such as SBS 2000 or SBS 2003. This is from Microsoft MSDN site: If you are running Exchange Server as a part of Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2000 or Windows Small Business Server 2003, you can install...

Move Exchange or Move Domain Controller?

Yes, SBS server 2003 comes with Exchange so one would assume this configuration would be okay. I've just ordered up a brand new server with SBS 2003 and was planning on making it a domain controller and installing Exchange Server. I'm going to search Microsoft for more information on this...

    No public folders in OWA

Close, but not quite. I am not using the fqdn to access the server, and when I try to, as suggested by the article mentioned, it still doesn't work. When I use the URL: http://mailserver.mydomain.com/public The standard page not found error appears. If it makes a difference the logoff...

    No public folders in OWA

Hello, Currently public folders are accessble no problems from all Outlook clients. However when a user logs in via Outlook Web Access, an error message appers "The item cannot be found. It may have been deleted" and although the user can access all their specific info like email, contacts...

Cannot Open Public folder in Exchange system Manager

In IIS expand the Virtual Server for your Outlook Web Access then right click on the "exadmin" virtual directory. Make sure the path is set to \\backofficestorage or in my case \\.\BackOfficeStorage. Once this was done my error dissapeared.
