    Teleworker server VPN issue

A teleworker may or may not have/need a second nic. Depends on the config of your system. You'll need to log in to see. But I'm not clear as to what you are trying to do. Are you trying to bypass your firewall? Ralph

How's the traffic on your trunks? Won't work if all your lines are already in use. Ralph

    Traffic Report

Login to your system via telnet. From maintenance type "cat info *.traffic" This will show you what files are available to view. Now you can enter "type *.traffic.<file>" and it will display your traffic. Ralph

    Mitel Teleworker Audio Help!

Assumeing you are in a DMZ, be sure the TW server is in "Server Only" mode. If you have a NIC on the DMZ and a NIC on the voice vlan ~this will not work~. Ralph

    DID's not matching internal extensions

You would only need the speed dial if the extension does not match the DID. Using your example: 517-555-4101 would not need a speed dial programmed if they exten is 4101. But, if the exten is 5555 then you would program the last 4 digits of the DID (4101) with the actual number of 5555. Ralph

    DID's not matching internal extensions

take the last 4 digits of the DID, enter them into the system speed form. Speed dial is 4101, actual number is 132. Done this many times. Not my favorite thing to do but it works. Ralph

MITEL 5312 reboots when dialing thru sip trunks

Is it only the 5312 phones? The rest work ok? Verify the default gateway is correct. (Simple things first) Next you'll need to put Wireshark on the phone to get an idea of what the packets are doing. Ralph

    5320IP phone failure

Try blowing away the MAC address and re-registering the phone or use the set replacement code. Also, verify the phone is programmed with the correct set type. Ralph

    auto conference or else

Here's something I've always wanted to try for years but never got around to it or had a reason like your's to try. Take an analog extension line a put a 600ohm resister across the tip and ring. Program the extension line as a "non-busy" extension. My theory is, the phone will look like it's...

    5330 / 5340 reboots

Great input! My first thought was regarding the power. We've put Mitel inline power bricks to see if that helped. Didn't. What I find interesting is that - in general with exceptions - the problem only seems to happen when a call is transferred. I've yet to see what the phone says when it...

    SX2000 data save error

You may have filled up your hard drive. Probably because you lost the FTP to OPS ability. You may be able to go into that catalog and blow away some old FTP files. Alternantly, you may be able to delete the old data save in *.dr Ralph

    5330 / 5340 reboots

3300cx ver 10.0.2.8 Stand alone system. PRI call. Has anyone seen a case where 53xx series phone get a "Fatal Exception" then reboots when an external PRI call is transferred to it? Always the receiving phone that reboots. Not every call. Network is flat with only about 40 phones on...

    Mitel sx2000 Light Help

Another thing, be sure to connect to the control cabinet and not a PER cab. I remember from way back there were dip switches that needed to be set so if you get it talking to the CTL cab first then you'll eliminate that potential issue. Ralph

Is the console on the same subnet as the other phones? Ralph

    Remote Access Solutions

Although I prefer the logmein application I also like the above mentioned linksys app, however since Logmein requires a PC on site, that PC can also act as a FTP server so that the 3300 can do automatic scheduled backups. Another thing that can be done is to use the "free" version of MSL from...

    DBMS Table Error

Your HEX translates like this: 11578966645329100816 30000000000000000000000000000 Doesn't mean anything to me but perhaps you can pull an extension number out of it. Ralph

    SX2000 - RIP 5/1/2010

Wow! Alpha! I am jelous! Would have loved to work for Mitel at that time. Interesting to see why the HDs were on top. Didn't know that. Your's sounds like one I worked on with a redundant 48v rectifier. Ah, the good old days. Ralph
