If I run that command from the Maintenance commands in the web interface to the 3300 does the file end up on my local machine (which doesn't seem to be working), or does it end up on a server someplace in the phone system?

The file already exist on the 3300. When you enter the logs read command it just displays the logs to your screen. It doesn't xfer it to your PC.

So the INTO <filename> syntax assumes that <filename> already exists on the 3300? What would <filename> be, and where do I find it?

And, if it already exists, then how does the command

logs rea smdr into <filename> all

differ from

logs rea smdr all?

command LOGS A shows file names where logs are sent. If "nil" logs are not stored. valis file names can be found in system help files.
