What do you think all the hub-bub was about, Bob? :)
One of the things the powers that be were P'd off at Bill Gates was the "forced" use of Internet Explorer...
:)
Thanks very much for the star!

I do believe, yes, Gerry. Actually, I think it started to occur when I updated to WinXP SP2, tho right now I can't find the dern setting. I could be wrong tho. Didn't find diddly at MS. Would love to see the doc if you care to send it, Bob. Just send to anne@ the website in my sig...
Can you explain further what you mean?
When you add (or change) an email account, you can click More settings button and change the reply to in there...

My apologies, Gerry. If I type 123jjj45, it leaves 12345. That was a stupid typo, but it's STILL weird!!

Yeah. I pasted 123sdfgt45 and hit enter and got 123t45 and no error (tho I didn't assign one). Weird that others get something different. If I directly type 123t45 it leaves the t, but if I type 123jjj45, it leaves only 123.

Sounds to me like you can get Kodak image viewer, install it on the XP, associate TIF files to it, and go?

So, okay... do y'all mind if we have a little discussion here? What's the matter with Word 2003's compression button?
Double-click a graphic, click Compress, choose "all graphics in document". This considerably reduces all the files I've tried it on thus far.
While I'll likely NEVER use Word...
I forgot that some of my favorite techies are here at Tek-Tips. :) A huge hello to Skip and Brad.

Okay. Not only do you have to set the search to show hidden files and folders, but I believe you must be viewing them as well.
Open My Computer. Hit Tools-->Folder options, View tab. Check Show Hidden Files & Folders
Uncheck Hide file extensions...

Bob, did you try searching for *.PST files? Perhaps you'll find it that way, particularly if you know what day it would last have been modified.

Sip: Are you sure his PST is in Outlook 2003 format and not an older format? Also, think about the possibility of having to move that file in the future. I had to do it and I don't ever want to do it again, so I keep my PSTs to a minimum of about 1GB.

Perhaps someone will edit this VBA code to do what you need?

But it may be simpler to create a Document_Open macro that does it each time you open a document.
