Depending on the version of Communications Manager you're using, a (Cluster Wide) service parameter for the Extension Mobility service exists, named "Clear Call Logs" (Received, Placed and Missed call).
When set to True, the logs will be cleared when an user logs off.
From what I remember...
If you want to replace the old ATA-186 by a new one, you could just change the MAC-address / Device Name, assuming that this new one isn't already known. If so, disconnect it from the network, remove it from the Communications Manager, and change the old MAC-address with the new MAC-address and...
As far as I know, an HP Proliant DL320G2 needs (at least) 72GB drive(s) with CUCM 6, with 2GB of RAM. I can't tell you if RAID 1 is supported.
Regrads,
Eric
A few months ago, I asked Cisco which models of the HP Proliant DL320-G5 are supported, and got the answer:
418044-001 DL320 G5 X3050 / 1GB / 80GB SATA
as found on the http://www.cisco.com/go/swonly
and not the newer G5 model(s), for example:
418046-001 DL320R05 X/3060-1 1 GB DC 2,4 GHZ...

The only product I am aware off which offers this is the Cisco Unified Provisioning Manager where you can create Domains (or sites in your case if you want). It can and does a lot more than only this.

The HP Proliant DL360 G* isn't a supported platform, neither for CallManager (Communications Manager), or IPCC Express (UCCX)!
The Cisco WinOS install CD/DVD's, used for CallManager 3.*, 4.1 and 4.2 and IPCC Express 3.* and 4.*, uses a (hardware) detection mechanism and a certain way to...
In several situations I am able to get FAX working using an ATA-186.
FAX and Modem traffic over IP needs special attention. In case of using an ATA-186 for FAX, you'll have to configure the ATA-186, VoiceGateway and FAX itself properly.
On the ATA-186, configure the AudioMode from 0x00350035...
As far as I know it is not possible to use 1 account for all 4 "environments". The console/OS account is separate from the rest.
With the console you are able to create extra accounts, but not completly with the same rights (if I am not mistaken) as the original OS (= Master) Administrator...
Using "set password admin" changes the password for the Operating System Administrator (console or the OS Administration webpage).
The (Database Access) security password (changeable with "set password security") is NOT used for the administrator account used to access the /ccmadmin webpage...
The Agent Desktop and Supervisor Desktop are both included. There's a realtime statistics webpage available, but with de Supervisor Desktop has other functionality as well.
For licensing an agent is the same as a supervisor, so if you want 10 agents and 1 supervisor, you'll need 11 licenses...
The Cisco Unified Contact Center Express product comes in 3 flavours: Standard, Enhanced and Premium (increasing feature-set). Cisco has several licensing models and promotions, and could change pricing depending on your needs.
Based on version 5.x (works together with CUCM=Communications...
Since (I believe) CUCM 6 the Fast Dials Service (and Personal Addressbook service) are moved to the phones "Directory" button, where the corporate directory, missed calls, etc. also resides.
With this, there's no need anymore to create Phones Services for Fast Dials and Personal Addressbook...
Since you mention a dual CPU system, it could be (partly) recognized as a Cisco MCS-7845 alike system, with an incorrect number of HD's available. Such a system requires 4 HD's of 72GB (which will be 2 RAID 0-1 arrays).
And maybe the firmware could be a reason too (no specific details on that)...
Even if you are able to install the software on a VMWare image, you most probably will have problems getting a working server license for it. The MAC-addresses as used by VMWare are most certainly not accepted by Cisco Licensing. And yes; you'll need licenses to be able to start the CallManager...
Configure the Switchback Timing option in the CallManager for that specific gateway if you're using MGCP. By default this setting is set to "Graceful". Try "Immediate" instead.
If using H.323 configure/change the ccm-manager switchback option to:
ccm-manager switchback immediate
Good luck!
The only suggestion I have (for now) is to use translations for your (broadcast) group calls (add a special prefix to each CallerID, for example 88, to make a distinguish between normal calls and "group calls.

Eric
