restricting SRTS

1. I need to restrict certain phones when in SRST mode. I know you have create different Device Pools with and without a SRST ref. however is there another way on the actual SRST router.


2. Is there a CLI commends to restrict the number of DN`s being allowed to register, if there are serveral phones with multiple DN`s this will cause problems with other phones due to the potential DN limit

There is no way on the router to restrict SRST only the Device Pool method you mentioned.
The command 'max-dn XX dual line' will limit how many DN's can register with the router but I haven't found where to limit a 7960 from taking 6 DN's.

As pndscm wrote earlier, the Device Pools are the only way to assign/restrict SRST to a phone.
Why do you look for an alternative?
