It's the IP flex not allowing you to control outbound caller ID. Its forcing the main number to show. You need to put a ticket in with AT&T to allow you to control it.
Ran into an old Toshiba that I have no experience on; my background is Norstar/BCM and IP Office.
Was working on their analog lines when I found that 1 line is loop start and the other is ground start. I also discovered both lines are connected to CO ports on the Toshiba that are set to ground...
Well, I figured it out. Under Daylight savings I was putting the DST timezone to +1 thinking, well, I'm moving ahead an hour when in DST, but no it wants what actual UTC timezone I will be in during DST. I can't believe how much time I spent working on this. [banghead]
Ok, I'm now noticing the time gets better if I disable DST, but now I'm behind an hour. I suppose I could adjust the Timezone UTC to -7, but then once DST stops in November it will have to be changed manually. I will keep playing around with the settings.
@Nortel4Ever
Have you found anything to resolve this? I'm running into the same exact thing except its always 8 hours ahead. I'm in California so my UTC is -8. No matter what I do, use NTP or set the time manually, it always reverts to 8 hours ahead. I tried pointing NTP to an internal and...
Shoretel Communicator or Connect client can act as both. It's typical that the software client controls a physical phone, but you can use it only as a softphone. You would also need the Operator access license to activate operator features.
Are you replacing it with a multi-image hard drive? You would obviously be selecting bcm50 rls 6. You should be fine. You'll probably need to patch it when you're done.
After upgrading to Rls 6, the Rls 6 image should have been installed as well. This is so in case you had to do a level 2 reset it would default the system to Rls 6. If the image wasn't installed and you performed a level 2 reset the system would default to the version before the upgrade.
You...
On an IPO V2 Rls 8 w/VMPRO, is there a way to configure, maybe through VMPRO, an announcement on how many attendees there are to anyone entering the conference?
Thanks.
Does anyone know if message indication from Hunt Groups on the avaya sip softphone is supported? It is working for users with physical phones on the same hunt group. In fact, if the same user with the softphone hotdesks to a physical phone the indication for the hunt group will be there...
Also....as the phone was initially coming up, was it loading firmware alright. Was it seeing the IPO? I would assume so if it asked you for an extension.
What do you mean when you say you "put in" a blank password. When it asks for a password do you just hit OK?
Did you build extensions in Manager? Or is it set to auto create?
Based on the number of modules you have you can add up to 160 sets.
You don't need separate licenses for adding sets
your dip switches are correct, but like "telcodog" said, the first dip switch should be ON.
Are these new phones being installed on an empty module? If that is the case you...
Actually in a 450 the dip switches in the main cabinet are all on.
Since the 2nd DTM was in use at one time you should be able to check which Line Pool its in and then change the route destination code 9 uses to that line pool. Then just move the patch cable from one DTM to the other.
