Hello,

I'm looking into ShoreTel as a possible solution. I have looked at ShoreTel's website, however I don't see anything specifically mentioning their Operator Console endpoint / Operator Console software?

I'm just wondering if ShoreTel's operator software operates like a softphone (i.e. no hardware-based IP phone) or does it work in conjunction with a ShoreTel hardware IP phone? Are both options available?

Thanks
Neil

Shoretel Communicator or Connect client can act as both. It's typical that the software client controls a physical phone, but you can use it only as a softphone. You would also need the Operator access license to activate operator features.
